LORE DROP! THEO

Theo was stillborn but with his soul intact. Complications were expected of his birth considering both of his parents are reapers chosen to serve after their own deaths and death does not make life easy. This was something Alma and Edward were prepared for, having already made arrangements for their son to live so long as he also served as a reaper for the duration of time itself.

never looking away

you love people in the way you notice them. to be loved is to be known, and you take that very seriously. you remember people's birthdays and favourite songs, and you expect the same in return. you love to watch the person you love do just about anything, and you're utterly enraptured by them.

Theo's speech pattern is often a little odd. He's always been very quiet and kept to himself, even as a child. So, for whatever reason, he picked up the habit of mimicking people he's around often. He skips words, gets to the point or is sometimes very formal with very few contractions. Sometimes it's a mix.

What do you think of Xavier's coterie, Theo?✘

"It's an odd assortment of people, he's quite the collector," he grins, "and I think he's built a wonderful family. I just see coterie as another word for that- in our case."

Which muses have somniloquy, somnambulism, sexsomnia, or bruxism?

Cam - somniloquy / sexsomnia / bruxism

Theo - somniloquy

Waylon - sexsomnia [This is a very rare occurrence, and if Rosmond has seen/experienced this, it would have happened only when Waylon was extremely stressed- like when he is set to take a trip back to visit his parents.]

Which muses play video games and what are they?

Cam plays video games, and probably plays a lot of first person shooters like Apex Legends, but isn’t a huge fan of COD games. He also plays different JRPGs like the Persona series, Kingdom Hearts, and Final Fantasy. He’s there for some good story and fun gameplay. 

Waylon probably plays some silly phone games, but that’s about it. 

Theo only starts to play video games once they introduce them to Devlin, (Theo’s mom eventually buys Devlin some sort of game system for a birthday or Christmas) and finds out he’s not too bad at platformers. He gets weirdly into Megaman, and finds out he likes rogue-like and bullet-hell games.

💚 Everyone in a relationship!

Leon- He isn’t really prone to jealousy. He trusts Hamilton, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t make it very apparent to someone flirting with Hamilton in front of him that Hamilton is taken. He enjoys showing off that Hamilton is his~ ;3

Adrik- He’s not jealous in an aggressive sense, more possessive/protective, since he assumes Vincent might not recognize someone hitting on him or flirting with him in the ways an average person might. His Little Bird is a Little Clueless sometimes. In the end he trusts Vincent, he just knows the world is a nasty place and wants to protect Vincent from some of the worst parts of it. He knows Vincent is very desirable as well, so if something were to happen that might spark some jealousy, he’d just take Vincent home and ensure his Little Bird remembers who loves him <3  

Waylon- He is most definitely prone to jealousy in certain situations. If he were to see someone pursuing Rosmond he felt he couldn’t compete with, it would be more of an insecurity thing. Waylon hasn’t had a relationship like this before Rosmond, and struggles not to see himself as lesser to those that are a part of Rosmond’s world. Being so disconnected from it, and not understanding the intricacies of the dynamics of it, makes it hard for Waylon to separate logic and emotion. He trusts Rosmond not to betray him in any way, but it’s hard for him to imagine why Rosmond would stay with him sometimes, and that jealously is a reminder of that insecurity in his heart. Reminders from Rosmond would definitely help him accept that it is just jealousy and all in his head!

Theo- Absolutely. Theo is not really subtle about his jealousy, and it can ruin his mood if too obvious, or taken too far in his presence. He’s easy enough to soothe with Xavier’s help, and I can’t speak for Xavier, but Theo is probably amusing to watch when he does get jealous XD He can probably be a little childish about it

👻- For something that scares or disturbs them, but they refuse to tell anyone

Shapeshifters scare Theo. One of his closest calls was when he didn’t realize a shifter was impersonating a fellow hunter, and he would have lost more than a little bit of blood if the actual hunter hadn’t showed up on the scene. Now that he has better control over his vision, allowing him to see a being’s ‘true’ form, he hasn’t made the same mistake.

He’d never say it out loud, or turn down a hunt for one, but they make him very nervous when he is, and he never sleeps well during those hunts. 

🌜- For a ‘weird’ habit or tic that no one knows about

Theo aggressively chews on the ends of pens when he’s deep in thought or trying to give a page to his journal some finality. He doesn’t realize he’s doing it until someone else points it out, or the pen is chewed a few inches into the end. He has gotten pen ink around his lips once or twice because of this. Xavier is probably the only person who knows he does this.

🌟- For a secret wish or desire of theirs

Theo wishes he could start a school for hunters. Something structured with experts in the field guiding younger individuals who get pulled into the world of the supernatural whether they like it or not. Like he was. It’s the same desire that fuels his journal, he thinks a comprehensive guide will help hunters in the long run.

He wishes sleep wasn’t a need that existed.
