Keen fanfiction writer here! I've discovered over time (and been told by my English teacher when I was at school) that whenever I write original fiction or fanfiction, I tend to always keep stories too concise, getting from A to B way too quickly. Any tips on stretching out the content of writing and giving it more detail?
You should ask your teacher directly what they find lacking, because there’s an entire shopping list of things stories need or can have to make them more satisfying. Description, characterization, obstacles, subplots, etc…

So, I may have fallen down the rabbit hole of Hyperforce - Time Force was the season I watched growing up and I have very little knowledge of other seasons. Any recommendations for what to watch first? Hyperforce has rekindled my love for PR - the shipper part of me is hoping that they drop some Wes/Jen moments but I doubt it :P The whole Hyperforce cast is amazing but since this was my first time seeing Peter, phwoar that guy is a beautiful man~! <3 Hilarious too :P Squeeing over :P
i’m glad to hear it! hyperforce is super fun and a really good time all around
for other seasons - well if you like peter you should definitely check out HIS season which is ninja steel, currently airing, and the first eight episodes are up on netflix and the finale to the first season airs november 18th! it’s super cute and i love it a lot
other seasons:
if you liked time force, you should check out rpm, a lot of people find it thematically similar and it also has several romances that i love - it’s 32 episodes, standalone, and takes place in a post-apocalyptic future
also for romance: jungle fury, a great starter season, its 32 episodes and standalone and kung fu themed, it’s very charming
strong seasons in general: dino thunder and spd, both of which deal with serious subject matter but also have a great deal of humor, both 38 episodes. dino thunder is not quite standalone, it features tommy oliver from mighty morphin’ acting as mentor but it works pretty well on its own. dinosaur and high-school themed.
spd is set at a space police academy in 2025 and features a really interesting cast of characters and great worldbuilding, it was my first season and i love it. also can be seen as a spiritual successor to time force, since it takes place at an academy in the future (and they have some previous season shoutouts as well including a time force one).
after that, go from there and see what you like best! if you like space, check out in space and lost galaxy. if you like the serious militarized rangers approach of time force, check out lightspeed rescue. if you like the fun cheesy kids in high school thing check out megaforce. if you just like cool shit check out samurai or mystic force because what’s cooler than samurai and wizards? nothing.
