OOC POST: UPCOMING HIATUS

**Important for all**

As some of you might already know, I'm going away on a holiday from the 23rd of December to the 20th of January. With things like Christmas celebrations being brought forward, as well as packing which still has to be done, I can't guarantee that I'll be online a whole lot over the weekend. 

Obviously, I would love to keep as many of my wonderful partners as I can while I'm away, but I understand that my absence could come as a pretty huge inconvenience for some. If you would like to continue on as my partner, please either like this post or send me a message. We can either freeze the plot temporarily or bring things forward a month when I get back. Clearly, one option might be more suitable for one verse compared to another. Once I'm back, I'll be doing a spring clean of my partners page per se, and if need be, put out an advertisement for some more partners.

Finally, I'd like to wish you all the best for a happy and safe holiday season! I'm sure the next four weeks are going to fly by, but I can't deny that I'm going to miss all of you and being here :)

ooc post: re activity (relevant to all)

(JT is not pleased, and with good reason!)

Expect limited activity until further notice. Also, exams are in just over two weeks so I guess it isn't all that bad for my grades. The internet connection comes and goes, but we're expected to get a call from the service provider sometime after the weekend. Thanks for putting up with my limited activity over the last few days and me using my university's mobile wifi to make posts. I know it's sucky, but hopefully it'll be resolved soon.

Also my mum saw me making this post and I had to show her my gif folder because she wanted to see JT's face but thank heavens she didn't read any of my stuff. She was just like 'haha why do you play a guy?' to which I said 'because I'm better'. It's much better response than 'dskfhskdjfh JT Yorke is my bby'

Hopefully I'll talk to you guys sooner rather than later!

The Bet

 Being smart, funny, and mysterious, girls chased Eli. Not having to work  for anything amused Eli. He never took anything seriously. So when his best friend dared him to sleep with the school virgin, for a new car, he laughed. Piece of cake. Game on, sweetheart. I've got this.

You've Got Mail || JT & Clare

JT: It had been a few weeks since JT started his job at the law firm, and only now was he able to walk around the building without getting lost. Having spent most of his career acting, or in retail or hospitality temp jobs, it was quite a change having to work in such a large company building. Still, regardless of the law firm and the grandeur of its work space, he spent most of his time in the crowded mail room, handling and sorting out the incoming deliveries, passing them around the building and making sure that everything got to its destination. Most of the important deliveries went to the CEO of the firm, a man by the name of Randall Edwards, but JT had never actually seen him face to face. Surely, he was too important to deal with anyone below the rank of solicitor, lest an out-of-work actor sifting through papers. Regardless of that, JT didn’t seem to mind that he’d never see the man behind the firm. From what he’d been told, he was always incredibly busy and very involved in his job. He couldn’t go an hour without being told about one of Mr Edwards’ many achievements, whether they be in the field of law or elsewhere. He looked down at the letter before him, addressed to no other than the man himself. Adding it to a rather large pile he’d put aside, JT was counting on one of his many assistants coming by the mail room to pick everything up, likely en route from her communal coffee shop visit. His ears pricked up as he heard a quiet knock on the door, suspecting that it was the assistant, right on time as always. Since he was the closest to the front of the room, JT stood up from his chair and took a few steps forward, taking hold of the door handle and twisting it. Upon pulling the door towards him, he was surprised to see a different young woman before him. While her face seemed familiar, he couldn’t quite pinpoint it as to why. “Can I help you with anything?” he asked, wondering if she was a new employee like he was, or whether she was simply lost. If that was the case, he certainly wouldn’t have blamed her.
