I woke up this morning to an unbelievable gift. Seeing so many angels called home. Hearing the devastating news about our beautiful good brothers @virgilabloh and @rebelsocialite, being on an ultra high from the GRAMMY Nomination, my Dad has really been on my heart. From relating to the pain of losing someone so close to being overwhelmed with gratitude for all my Father, my Angel, has done and is doing in my life, my Dad has been on my mind so much. Then this gift came to me. I can’t begin to thank @yanory_norwood for crafting this amazingly beautiful painting called, “You Can’t Quiet My Loud,” that was inspired by my poem “Dear Father.” Just when you think you’re done healing, more layers are uncovered. And it’s always right on time. I can’t thank you enough Nory for using your gift to inspire, uplift, and heal the people. This piece is absolute beautiful. You are one of the special ones. Poppin’ in to say hiiii! And to remind you that life is too short for you to hold on to grudges... they make you bitter, angry, and weigh you down. Don’t give anyone that type of power over you. Forgive and keep moving. I had to learn the hard lesson that forgiveness is about my freedom. I thought that my unforgiving helped to hold people accountable or in some way punished those who hurt me. But I realized... the only one being punished was me. It only kept me in my own self made prison, upset, bitter, sad, depressed, stressed & sick. Meanwhile, the ones who hurt me were living their life. You can forgive without signing back up for the crazy or inviting pain & toxicity back into your life. Forgiveness is about YOU. Don’t let it block you from soaring in your own life. You know I often remind you of my favorite scripture... “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:23, 25‬ ‭NIV‬‬ I hope this encourages you & makes you realize that by not forgiving you are only blocking what God has for you in your life. Who else could not sleep till 4:30 am....? I realize that Source speaks to you through me and asks me to listen too. ⚡😇⚡ When I don't, it makes me uncomfortable until I do.🙃 So, source suggestion and prayer last night was the powerful exercise that finally allowed me to sleep.😌 Here it is again: Picture someone you love and need to forgive. Don't judge, just picture them. In your mind thank them. Tell them how you needed them exactly as they were so you could learn. Recognize how you needed to grow. Tell them you forgive them. Repeat in your mind until you feel forgiveness. This will gift you the lesson. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ So powerful that I had a download from source that I will share soon.
