Basic meaning:
The unconscious can be a powerful tool in our lives, and this card encourages us to look deeply underneath the surface. Here it is suggested that an answer to the question can be obtained through listening to our intuition, by meditating or by doing other spiritual practices. There could be secrets that might not be known to us in our conscious but can be unlocked through various means (which you can ask more about with more readings or cards). Usually this card reflects that you have good communication with your unconscious and that you are extremely intuitive.
Basic meaning (reversed):
Now you do not or can not listen to what you might secretly know. This can be extremely detrimental especially when you need to make a decision based on what you want, and this card advises to deal with whatever is blocking you from understanding yourself. It is suggesting that it is important to have a beneficial relationship with your unconscious.
