We had plans to climb that 600 foot tall rock feature today... but as you can see that isn't happening. . Who would've expected snow in the very most southern bits of Arizona, nearly hugging Mexico's border? . Surely not us. . If you're going to embark on a life filled with adventure you'll quickly learn a few things: you'll need to be flexible and patient. Shit breaks and you end up in the middle of Nevada off "the loneliest highway in America" for a few days. Or you head up to summit Mount Russell (a 14,000 foot peak) and the 80-degree heat at 13k forces you to retreat from your objective. Or you make it to Moab for one glorious 60-degree day before the weather plummets to freezing, and your water pipes do what you feel like doing and burst (😭). Or, you wake up and yesterday's incredible weather turned into a beautiful snowscape. . You'll have to learn when to call it.
