I finally finished reading #thereandbackagain #thehobbit When I first read this when I was 17, I did a crappy job at reading it. But now, I do love this story. I feel you will love this when you're reading it to children. It's definitely one of those books I will want to read to my kids someday. I love how weird but so interesting on the world-building, the backstories, and the writing, and love the characters. I feel Tolkien did a great job at making the writing sound humorous but invested. I say, if you want a book to read on raining days, I recommend reading this, but if you want a good story to read to kids, I highly recommend trying this out. You wont regret it. Today's art project went smoothly. Had this copy of Thror's Map from the Hobbit first edition facsimile. If you held it up to the light, the moon letters show up. Got a shadow box, put an LED with an external switch behind the map, drilled hole in the back of the frame so the power cable can run out, and now it sits pretty. Day 36 of #108daysofyogapractice New passport. New (old) name. New possibilities opening. I can now leave this country. If they’ll allow it. Now if I can only get out of bed.
