Please, I love to hate to love this man. Gods, he’s a huge himbo, and that’s like my ultimate weakness. You can ABSOLUTELY have Theseus fluff headcanons omg. I’m praying I actually stay on track with this request. -- Ryan

✧ It goes without saying, Theseus is a people’s person. Always drinking in the crowd and the cheers, the endless praise and fanfare. The type of person that he is, always wants to be surrounded by people, to be the center of attention.

     ✧ Though, after meeting you, he finds himself chasing after your attention, your company, your praise and encouragements.

✧ Theseus is a very outwardly affectionate person, and a loud one at that.

✧ He’s very profess-y, and will always find some way to declare his love for you, in any form, though it’s usually never subtle. He might even drag Asterius into an elaborate plan to do so, whether it be helping to arrange a romantic evening, or setting the stage for a show of it.

     ✧ He has no qualms with announcing to the world his affections and adorations toward you, finding any chance he get to show you off around the marketplace.

          ✧ This includes his time in the arena. He will dedicate each battle to you, and in your name, he’d fight for your glory to sweet victory or bitter defeat (absolutely going for the former each time to show off to you. Poor Asterius makes sure to give him most of the spotlight for such stunts).

✧ Theseus is a very touchy person, constantly needing to have contact with you in some form, whether it’s a hand on your shoulder, your back, at your elbow, your arm around his, or his around yours. Very frequently, will he pull you against him to share an embrace, or just a few moments together.

     ✧ He’s the type to pepper you in kisses for really no reason other than just having the light hit you in such a way it fills his heart with undeniable love and affection for you. 

✧ He’d dote on you to high heavens, spoiling you with lavish gifts, or compliments and praises. He’d dress you in ways that, regardless of Elysium’s ever-changing fashions, would bring out your features, and reminded you of each one that he loved.

✧ With Theseus, there was always some way he could mix spoiling you with making you feel confident about yourself. Given that, as you were the King’s significant other, he would make you feel like royalty, both inside and out.

You also work at the Ministry of Magic

You would have been nervous as hell walking in on your first day to meet with the head auror

As soon as you walked into the office, he gave you a big hug though because that boy’s a hugger

He led you to your own office, grabbing your hand and making you blush

For a long time you would just pine over him, staring at him as he worked

What you didn’t notice is that he would be watching you too

He had fallen for you from the first time he had seen you enter his office. You were just so beautiful to him

The ministry sent you out on a mission with him since you were the most advanced new hire they had ever seen

At first the mission is going well, but soon you are cornered

Theseus stupefies the man cornering you, saving you as the pair of you make quick work of the other wizards

As soon as you guys are in the clear he rushes over to you, examining you for cuts or bruises

He takes your head face in his hands, making you flush at the feeling of his calloused hands

He brushes the hair out of your face

“I don’t know what I would have done if you had gotten hurt”

The two of you pull apart because you don’t want to chance the wizards escaping after any spells wore off, but you couldn’t stop thinking about your closeness all day

After work you enter his office and ask him about it

He admits that he has feelings for you, and you end up making out on his desk

Rumors begin to spread quickly

People first assume you are dating, which is correct, but then it starts to take on a darker tone

People think you are sleeping with your boss so that you can be promoted

This leads to teasing and hatred from your other coworkers

Which leads to many nights crying and wanting to quit as Theseus holds you in his arms and strokes your hair

Eventually the ministry hears of these rumors and come to question the pair of you

The relationship is suspicious because of the gap in your levels at work, but they find nothing wrong with it

You are always worried about each other going away for business  because you are both well aware of what a dangerous profession you’ve chosen

But you always come back to each other

Day XII: Theseus

In which a kid with too big a sense of responsibility wrestles a creature he wasn’t prepared for and escapes with his life and all 13 lives of his kin. He deserves a nap on the ship.

I have this idea of the Theseus story where sixteen year old Theseus is determined to save lives, is in over his head, and manages to overcome. The real villain in this story is Minos, the victims are Asterion, countless Athenian teens, almost Theseus and his crew, and Ariadne. The whole experience, and the discovery of what they’re being fed to, facing it, and nearly losing to it, is deeply traumatic to Theseus. It breaks his character a little bit, and Ariadne… Well, he doesn’t know how kind she is. All he sees is his people’s oppressor, who put him and all the other victims through hell. He agrees to take her back with him for survival, but he maroons her because he is unwilling to bring a daughter of Minos to be princess and someday queen of Athens. He thinks it would be spitting in the face of his people.

But the mean, unpredictable, memory-loss ridden, bad decision making Theseus begins after he boards the ship at Crete, completely spent.

Dating Theseus Scamander Would Include...

-Lunch dates when you’re both on break at work!

-Helping him pour over case files and any evidence he can bring home because you’re a clever fresh set of eyes and he loves your input

-Dinner parties with enchanted harps that play music by themselves

-long slow kisses because he doesn’t want to say goodbye ever, even if it’s just for a day.

-Cutting out pictures from the newspaper when you’re photographed together for any articles or press events

-Him leaving gifts for you at your work

-Arguments are surprisingly calm and almost more like debates. Very heated conversation but there has never been even a raised voice

-Fancy Boy™️ on dates! He loves nice quiet restaurants and nice smelling candles

-His Love language is definitely quality time and he’ll be all around you showing you all the affection you want

-While he definitely sees you both as equals, he believes in “chivalry “ and no matter your gender he sees himself as the gentleman and therefore won’t let you pay on any dates

-He likes being a little spoon. He likes when he feels your arms around him and like he can just relax fully into you

-Sex is slow and sweet with Theseus. He likes to take his time and for you to explore each other

-that being said, he’s a sucker for seeing you dressed up for formal events and he’s less likely to be slow after one of those.

-As punctual and proper as he is at work, he wants to sleep in and stay cuddled up under the covers every morning. Sometimes he needs you to push him out the bed to get ready.
