Lessons || Rin & Shizuo

Shizuo sat on the bench that rested beside the pool, his leg bouncing up and down as his eyes remained trained on the rippling surface of the water. Recently, Shizuo had ended up falling in a river while attempting to catch Izaya and while he had managed to get out of the water, he would never be able to forget the taunts that Izaya had shouted down at him.
Shizuo could swim enough to stay afloat, but he was not talented in any sense of the word. This was why he was now sitting next to this pool, waiting for his instructor to reveal himself. Shizuo would never again let his inability to swim come between himself and killing Izaya… Even if it required trying to survive through swim lessons.
Shizuo’s hands continued to clench in the fabric of his black swimming suit—the cloth felt strange as did the soft cotton t-shirt he was wearing. Anything that wasn’t his bartender suit felt odd to him and he didn’t even want to think about how he’d feel once he had to take his shirt off. As much as he didnt want to say it, he was actually quite self-consious of how he looked.
”Dammit, Izaya…” He muttered, squeezing his eyes shut as he ran his hands through his blonde locks.
