      An amusement crept into the chimera’s face, only for a casual shrug to be finally given. “Have heard worse.” Especially from Stiles -this man seemed to have trivial filters, always acting on impulse, always speaking his mind. But to talk with entire candour, maybe his points hadn’t been  THAT  inaccurate. With a history like theirs, after all, only the worst of attitudes were to be expected. there’s silence, for a long time on jackson’s behalf. it took a lot for him to admit that he cared for someone else more than he cared for himself, and odd..odd has managed his way into the werekanima’s life and planted himself there. at first it wasn’t anything good; they fought and they screamed at each other and then one day, after a little liquid courage, they realized that maybe it hadn’t been anger that fueled their emotions into such a high.

so, to live through all of that, to progress as much as they had..and then to hear that? jackson is stunned. positively fucking stunned, and for the first time in a long time, angry at odd. “what the fuck am i to you, then?” he voiced, tone harsh and raked with a little bit of hurt, only as much as he would allow to be heard. “you’re assuming that i wouldn’t miss you? you’re assuming that i wouldn’t notice if the idiot i had fallen in love with disappeared? thank you so much for thinking so highly of me, odd.” not to mention that it had already happened once and jackson went fucking feral for a while there.
