Inktober Day 26 - Weaver . Continuing with a bit more Dark Crystal, here is the Skeksis' counterpart - the light to their dark - the Mystics. The overall physiology of the Mystics is similar to that of the Skeksis, albeit not rotted and twisted with evil. They are 2 sides of the same coin. . This costuming is so intense, it's hard to decipher all the intricacies for a drawing, so it's rather loose and relies a lot on chiaroscuro to get the form across; a real head-scratcher. More testament to the immense talent of Jim Henson's Creature Shop. .
