Chyler Leigh was pretty amazing today, trying to reach out to a suicidal fan... but I think it's important that we don't put people like Chyler into the position of being in charge of the health and wellbeing of fans.

If someone is suicidal you contact the authorities. Police, health, and local family/friends. These are people who are charged with dealing with this issues, or have some skin in the game.

Actors are NOT psychologists. They can be bloody good people, but they are not trained in this. You are expecting too much, and when they fail (and they will) it won't only be your opinion of them tainted - people will get hurt. This is not limited to the family, friends and the person with mental illness, but it's also the actor who was erroneously charged with protecting a fan.

Please contact people who can help on the ground. Do not expect your favourite to be that person, it's unfair, cruel and as stated before destined to failure at some point.
