my favourite thing about house md is that House always tries to find out which new person Wilson is flirting with by being loud, obnoxious and off putting to both him and all the women he sees him talk to, and Wilson passive-aggressively pushes House towards women while being jealous and bitter at the idea of House choosing someone over him, like, "so you think she's better than me? fine, go after her, marry her, live happily ever after, since you think she's your so called love of your life, asshole"

I love how both Emma and Julian are thinking extremely inappropriate questions, but on the opposite ends of the scale.

Julian is like crazy guarded, glaring at Nene, all brooding and how do i know i can trust you? Boy, the Unseelie King is trying to run you over, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

Emma. At least you kept your increasingly odd questions on the inside. But why are you prioritizing thinking of the most random offhand remarks, and saving the sensical ones for the end? Peak Jace energy right there. Be anoying then make sense at the end to catch them off guard.

I think I missed something in Bridgerton because how are people thinking that the love story between John and Francesca is not as good as Daphne x Simon's or Anthony x Kate's storylines?

In TV, it's true, because the angst and the drama makes it more entertaining and fun to watch.

But in real life, I think people look for what John and Francesca have: a connection, a new found peace, knowing you have found someone you love and are willing to spend the rest of your life with them.

Who wants drama? Your futur spouse pretending to hate you, and not wanting to marry you and only at the last moment deciding they want to be with you? How is that better? Or more passionate?

Most people don't want Colin "I would never dream of courting Penelope Featherington " Bridgerton. They want John * I'll write you a music partition because you didn't like the original one* Kilmartin.

Anthony was literally going to marry Kate's sister and only didn't because Edwina stopped the wedding.... not him.

Why would Violet or anyone think this is better than what John and Francesca have???

Yes, it's "boring" to watch, but it's not boring to live. That's true romance. Not the drama.

They are the healthiest couple out of all the Bridgertons.

And no hate to the other couples, I do love Angst with a happy ending, I just don't get the contempt towards John x Francesca.

Luffy x Law is such a fun and hilarious ship with so much potentials for hijinks and some drama, because you're not only pairing a book dumb idiot with an intellectual genius, but also pairing one of the most emotionally intelligent characters with one of the most emotionally constipated characters.

We ALL know House overanalyses things. Every little thing that comes in his way is a puzzle, some really easy to solve, others the ones that peak his curiosity and thrill him and fill him with that sense of adrenaline.

James motherfucking Wilson is pretty chill in that aspect, he lets things go unnoticed bc not everything is worth overanalysing and he’s mentally stable ( again, in that aspect. )

Thinking about the intensity of Westley in The Princess Bride (both the movie, where Elwes hardly blinks in his monologue about The Pain to Humperdinck, and in the book, where he sleeps like 4? hours a night to give himself time to study and learn and do better for himself), and how it fits rather neatly with the romance aspects as we think of the genre now. Buttercup would have to be a bit dim, to be able to weather being the recipient of all that intensity.
