simon takes a long , deep breath . breathes out . releases his frustrations . releases his anxiety . this is no time to be panicking -- not with marigold stuck in here with him . ( still , it's hard not to dislike these closed - in walls . it's hard not to remember when such a place was his entire life ; when such a place was to be his death . )

he's almost impressed that marigold even noticed . his poker face is impeccable , if he does say so himself , and he had only taken his hands out of his pockets for a short moment to try the elevator buttons . apparently that was all she needed to catch on to his discomfort . it's impressive , really .
