The Nightmares are still a bit alike the Dream Pirates, pillaging things however the Nightmares prefer to take things that are considered 'less valuable' compared to the Dream Pirates and Nightmare Men.
Sometimes of they're lucky, they manage to steal from a spirit, sometimes they even get to the sled, ransacking it for items they want.

Book Review: Dance of Thieves
Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
For starters, I loved this book so much that I immediately went out and bought a hard copy of both this and the sequel (I normally read on my kindle). Plus, the cover of both books are gorgeous, so they're great additions to my bookshelf ❤️
I'm a sucker for a strong female lead and Kazi checked all those boxes. Did it also give me a strong male lead who cares about his family and his people, but has to make hard and sometimes questionable decisions? Yes, enter Jase Ballenger. The dynamic between these two is enticing. What secrets are being held? Are they friends? Enemies? Playing each other? Or something more?
I will say that relationship plotlines do take the center stage with the action and story happening around that. I, personally, enjoyed that but I can see why that would turn people off. I didn't read The Remnant Chronicles until afterwards - which I kind of regret. It's not absolutely necessary, but I do think it adds a little to the story.
This is a little different of a thieving book than Six of Crows. The focus is not on the scheming and planning but more of the adjustments and patience you have to have to pull off a "job".
