One of the many things I enjoy about shipping Jyn/Cassian:

Traditionally, the best and most prolific shippy fanart has gone with things I don’t really ship. I mean, I don’t ship R/eylo but every single day I see the most gorgeous art.

But!!! Jyn/Cassian has a ton of art, and so much of it is absolutely gorgeous. Sempaiko alone would be worth it, but my whole tag is just ... goddamn.

I have ships I like as much, but I don’t think I’ve ever had any that were so purely enjoyable in fandom terms.

Being in love with someone who doesn't even know you exist isn't the worst thing in the world. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Almost like passing in a term paper that you know sucked, but having that period of time where you haven't gotten your grade back yet -- that kind of exhale where you haven't been rejected, although you pretty much know how it's going to turn out.
