Just so you know. A previous person having tagged something on a post will not block it from ppl. It's on a reblog by reblog basis.
And you have to tag a word individually for it to block as well. So say I wanted to filter out the word time. It would have to be tagged:
#I hate #time #passing so much
Hope this is a bit more clear
alright i used to think that as long as the original post was tagged as something, the post would be blocked from people who banned a certain tag, because i remember seeing posts on my dashboard that were blocked although the person who reblogged it didn't tag it as anything?? if that makes sense. but thank you for explaining
Ur brax beholding fanart is everything i didnt know i needed ♡
Omg thank you so much😳😳😳!!!!!
Hey! I have did and i was wondering if you have any experience dealing with alters with disabilities the body doesn't? Like we have a mute alter and a blind alter and i want to help them. The body is physically disabled so i understand disability but im still worried im not helping. Any advice?
I do have a little experience with this, yes.
Really what needs to happen is 1) acceptance of the alter as they are, followed by 2) working to understand why that disability is part of the alter’s identity.
We also have an alter that seems to be mute but after some digging and reflection, we’ve found that her silence has a specific purpose (tied to why she split, we think), and from there have been working on other ways for her to communicate her needs. Another alter seems unable to walk, and with her, we are only on the first step: acceptance, but are working towards understanding why she is like that, since we can help her better then.
Once it is understood why that trait is part of the alter, it is much easier to find ways for them to start to heal. Healing cannot be forced, but offered, and in the meantime, accommodations for that alter can be made to some degree. The best thing I think you can do is work to understand the trait!
Madame pomfrey always having a bed open for those who get frequent infections. Madame pomfrey having a selection of braces for those who have joint issues. Never melting ice packs for those with chronic pain. A selection of nice sleeping potions with insomnia. Basically madame pomfrey having all the good stuff for those with disabilities
Piper, Phoebe, and leo from charmed has PTSD and Paige is autistic!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH yes good. You have no clue how happy this ask makes me because Charmed is one of my current hyper fixations. I also think Prue had PTSD and that she and Piper both have BPD??? maybe??? But definitely to everything you just said, good shit good shit
is discovery in canon with tos or aos do you know?
Oh my god. I just flew into a panic after I read your ask, because I just assumed the show would be set in the Prime universe. THE Trek universe. I had never even considered it might be set in the AOS universe, and if it happened that it was, I’d be horrified tbh. I don’t want a TV show set in that universe. Movies exploring it, okay, but if a TV show was set there it’d be like that timeline was overtaking the one that’s always been the main one. I can’t really find the words right now to express why that would upset me so much but trust me when I say I would be really, really distressed lmao
anyway... I googled and found this where Bryan Fuller says that it is indeed set in the Prime universe (thank goodness.)
