Maybe it’s just me but I’ve noticed since their last sextember EB, Rhett & Link have been….what’s the word? More casual with how they physically interact with one another. They haven’t particularly ramped up the physicality or acted more homoerotic than usual but they also have made less complaints.
Like in during this episode. Link says he looks like he’s sitting on Rhett’s lap due to depth of field/camera angles right? Rhett only casually responses with “Do you wanna sit on my lap?”. No real sass or saucy-ness to it. Just a simple follow up. (He may have been really focused on his aim)
Then there was the soda experiment episode wherein they get pranked by the crew/writers by being told one technique to stop soda from bursting out is to “lady & the tramp” the can. They sorta just go for it a couple times before eventually giving up.
I have more little examples like this but yeah. In the EB itself they have a funny little back and forth wherein either man leaves space for the other to “have feelings for them”. Summarizing that basically it would be okay because they would simply work around the unrequited feelings but it’s never happened, but again, it would totally be okay if it did! It was funny to me because both sounded very much like “Hey, if you confessed right now, we’d still be good”. Rhett in particular.
Or maybe nothing’s changed and I’m just reading into things again like a good little hyper fixated human would.
