If you like sci-fi you might like Titansgrave, which runs off of Fantasy Age. It’s a little simpler mechanics-wise but I love the setting.
I was getting into more steampunk settings when the twins came along if I’m honest...I was pretty keen on Space 1889 when it came out. I haven’t been at a gaming table for about 3 years now; but when they get just a smidgen older and their father can handle them without his head exploding; I’m going to see if I can’t get into a regular gaming gig around here.

Thank you! It makes me very, very happy to hear that you like my skin (and toddlers). I will definitely be updating the default (and hopefully at some point make a non-default as well), but because I’m not actually very good at cc-making and have no idea how to make a skin default from scratch, I’ll have to wait until someone else makes a default, so I can slap my textures on that.

Ash is sort of grey area stuff. He’s devious enough; but so far to date he’s stayed firmly on the side of the law. Of course he adheres more tightly to his personal code more tightly than the law; but that’s neither here or there.
Cowplant lady is an entirely viable choice. Her name is Kaliko. She’s feisty as hell and doesn’t take crap from anybody. She values the truth above all things and scientific method.
My goodness! We’re only halfway through the first day without Jayme...

There's a difference between standing up for yourself, and now attacking someone for things that are reailved
In a way, the whole situation wasn’t resolved until Jayme left. Jayme had proven herself capable of going after Kaliko pretty ruthlessly. Jayme had been spreading crap about Kaliko around the House pretty plentifully not too long ago for all that she whined to Lillian about Marie and Kaliko whispering about HER.

honestly choi trying to approach kaliko is like when you try to carry too many things at once and you tell yourself you're fine but then you just drop it all and it goes everywhere and makes a huge mess and you have the audacity to act confused.
Some part of Choi knows he shouldn’t have brought it up. But then there’s the part of him that’s woken up pissed off the last two days...

Yes, but have you noticed? He’s dropped an insane amount of weight as well. I blame the daily runs to burn off his stress and keeping one step ahead of Jayme; but actually, eating nothing but veggie food probably isn’t helping him.
I think he’d cheerfully throw somebody under a bus for a prime rib steak right about now.
Hmm. Looks like Lance-y Poo got a little too catty this week and still no one suspects Ash is playing to win.
Well, it was a combination of two factors, I think. He got too close/pal-sy with Jayme. He didn’t really have a lot of choice there though. Jayme wanted somebody to talk to and the only other female in the house is Kaliko. Lance/Lacey was her best option. Plus the opportunity to mess with Ash proved to be too tempting for Lance. As much as they’ve inadvertently been on the same side, Ash and Lance rub each other up the wrong way. Ash is a traditionalist, gritty ex-cop and Lance/Lacey deals very badly with authority or authoritarian figures.
Once Ash knew Lance/Lacey was on to him and his deeper game, Ash had to make a bold move.

I know. She’s finally where she can’t just run away from the situation and can’t get away and pretend it never happened, or let it twist in her head after enough time. Not sure how this is going to work out for her, TBH. It’s either time for an epiphany or a break down.

Well, it’s a bit easier for them as Jayme hasn’t actually schemed against THEM directly. I daresay Choi might have a slightly different attitude if Jayme had been attacking Marie. And Marie’d never take that lying down. (Not saying Kal did!)
