In the last post, we found that there's no significant association between variable POINTS (parent's attitude), and the count of the child's sexual relationships.

We rerun the same test, but this time separated by a third variable : bio_sex. We will see if this absence of association is both in the two groups, or if it is related just to one group (males or females).

Group 1 : Males (bio_sex = 1)

r = 0.02189 is very low and the p-value 0.5084 is not significant.

Group 2 : Females (bio_sex = 2)

r here also is very low -0.00745 but negative, and p-value is again not significant. There is no real association between parents' attitude, and children sex attitudes.

This graph shows the total number of sex relationships for females, and the number of points scoring the parents attitude.

Our conclusion is that, parents can't really control their children's sex life, and their attitude has no real effect. The previous scatter plot shows that some children with a very low number of points (-6 : both parents are against every type of sex activity in this age), are having more sex than others with some positive responses ! The more parents are negative, the more their daughters are having sex !!
