I think it's funny that on the official site Nintendo managed to find a spot for Echoes of Wisdom in the timeline but they still have BotW and TotK separate from everything.

Like. They messed with the timeline so much in those games even they don't know how it fits. If it does.

I made two new friends this year and they're both being weird about peoples ages saying things like “I could never date anyone XYZ age” and “I was having such a good time until I found out most people there were under XYZ age” and “don't talk to them, they look like they're XYZ age”

And on one front I can understand the caution and on the other front.

Who the fuck cares??? Not me???? So what if you're attracted to someone younger than you??? So what if you have fun with people that are younger than you??? So what if you talk to someone younger than you!?!?!???

As someone who was once “young” and is still very much “young” people my own age suck!!! I couldnt talk to anyone BUT those who were older than me. The only connection I could have was with those on the same mental level with me which usually weren't people around my age or younger!!!!

There are plenty of other young people that have/had a similar experience to me.

Sometimes young people need to talk to someone older than them. Sometimes young people are older than you because they're not being an asshole about the day you were born. Sometimes *people* need connection.

why the fuck does it matter so much????

“Age” (or what I suspect they're actually after is maturity) shows up in so many more ways than the number of years you've lived on this terrible planet. Get over yourself.
