My brain is empty. Here is AU:

Takes place at the and of season 1 of TFP before Unicron. Small change. Decepticons already finished building (or are very near and of it) space Bridge. Unicron wakes up, everything goes pretty similar to canon. Until Megatron and Optimus form an alliance.

Here Optimus even with the matrix is not capable of fully winning with Unicron or simply don't know how to use matrix for this.

And going with the thought of Optimus being actually one of the original Primes, just with gaps in his memory, he choose to find help by asking his siblings what he should do.

Optimus tells the rest that they need more help and he need to get to the cybertron. It's something like:

Team: What do you mean you are too weak?

Optimus: . . . I know I'm most of the time somehow saving everyone by myself but we are literally facing a God who is the planet. I have my fraging limits.

Anyway. Megatron agrees to use their space bridge and when he stays on earth to be sure Optimus have a reason to come back, Prime goes alone to cybertron.

He goes to the temple of the Primes (idk if they have it but if Primes are kinda holy to them then porpably yes) and try to talk with his siblings. The gave him no response.

/For context I hc that the drama that was between them that made Optimus go mortal is still kinda unsolved and most of them just don't talk to eachother even if they are in one realm/

Optimus angry with them - becouse Unicron is still Unicron, and they really should put their differences aside to save the world - and in desperate need for help, reaches out to The Fallen, Megatronus himself who was imprisoned by the rest after their disagreement alone without chance to get out by himself.

Soo... Optimus comes back from Cybertron with another mech, bigger then the prime, all in black and red, with huge cannon on his right arm who looks like real war machine.

Imagine introducing Megatronus to the Prime team, to Megatron and exposing Optimus as literal demi god reincarnation with only small part of his memories regained for now

TFP: THE CHILD OF ORDER

Long ago, when the Thirteen original primes defeated the evil god known as UNICRON the chaos bringer. Life on Cybertron began to thrive, with the Thirteenth as its protectors.

But even after the successful defeat of the evil deity. New conflict occurred, as new and more dangerous threats arose. The Thirteenth then realized that their time as Cybertron’s protectors was limited. As they knew they would not always be there to protect and watch over it.

And so, a powerful creation was made to be Cybertron’s hidden hope.

With the Allspark’s aide, the Thirteen primes sacrificed a piece of their own sparks, their power, their essence, to create the most powerful being imaginable.

A being whose sole purpose was to ensure that no threat would harm Cybertron or its people.
