Hey guys, if someone calls you out for saying something disrespectful, your first response probably shouldn’t be to go to another platform and spam repost autism acceptance posts about how social cues are hard and how autism can have scary symptoms. Sense8 was incredibly racist at times and no where near as diverse as it should be given the show’s premise, along with the people running the show having a history of racist behavior, and having their Black main actor quit part of the way into shooting season 2 presumably because he was uncomfortable with some of the stuff he was forced to shoot (which upon watching the Xmas special and s2 it became really apparent why he would want to quit), but of course and as usual instead of just understanding and acknowledging the issues the fandom is determined to shout over POC and especially the Black people voicing their opinions on it, and aggressively insisting that the show was “diverse” (in the vaguest way possible) to try and shut people up and I’m disgusted
