I have said this so many times I have spoken about him so many times just Damn you Leowook why were you such a good character. So here I go again on how absolutely TRAGIC this guy is so BUCKLE UP. I'll start from the beginning. Leo built his "empire" up from the ground. He grinded for ALL of BAT he built BAT from the ground up. He did all of that, he made HIS living with something he can do. I don't think I'll ever fully blame him for some of the things he's done, like hating on Parrot or chasing Spoke. Ofc I won't DEFEND all of his decisions because that one time with Jumper was like what the freak man

But just FRICK man, he has SUCH a tragic character arc that gets SO blown over. He watched his best friend die in front of him AFTER letting him go. AFTER letting Nufuli go. I hc SO damn hard that Leo has control issues that have stemmed from throwing himself into the leadership positions he has. He LET NUFULI GO WILLINGLY. He SAW that this was a time where he could let go, he could trust someone to take care of themselves.

Nufuli was shot. Right in front of his eyes. No armor. No reason, and a motivation to be his own person.

Yes, it was just one death, but it was THE death.

Think about it from his perspective.

Out of the GENUINE blue his best friend is shot. Nufuli wasn't like Jumper, he wasn't an ally, a colleague, an asset. Nufuli was someone Leo called his friend. His friend who felt that he needed to live in a shadow, his friend who finally broke out of his shell and wanted to go on his own, his friend who was the light to his darkness.

Dead.

Seemingly because Leo involved himself with Parrot. The one thing that changed, that made him almost die numerous times, caused his bases to be obliterated, and inadvertently caused the death of Nufuli.

NOW I'M NOT FULLY ADVOCATING FOR HIM. HE WAS A HELL OF AN ANTAG.

But I'm just AHHHH his CHARACTER BROOOOO

He was driven MAD by his goals and endeavors.

He is SO overlooked in the most UU way possible. He is a broken, tragic, and striving boy- dare I say man-who watched his dreams that he fought for be ripped away.
