thank you to everyone who commented, reblogged and just in general reached out and gave such kind words to the fiasco that is whatever happened recently. i'm taking my time to just sit with it and have a little giggle over the absurdity of it, because what else can i do if not laugh at it, since i can't possibly give in to the sheer fear and anxiety this has caused me, otherwise that'd be giving #her whatever she was aiming for in the first place. anyway, i digress.

i didn't expect people to actually follow me as a result of this but i figure, okay, out of sheer spite for whatever #she has done to me and caused me, i'm going to learn how to properly use tumblr, learn how to make stuff look extra cutieful, and repost all the work she stole from me, under my own rightful name and hopefully, get the clout that *i* deserve since *i* wrote them anyway. cool right. ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

anyway, hi again, hi for real, hi hi, i'm tenshi. i'm 24, i'm southeast asian, and i'm the least normal person when it comes to &team, specifically euijoo, yudai, jo and nicholas. hell, actually all nine of them. i've been a casual listener of &team since their debut days, since i was an engene since enha's debut days and by association, kept up with the #lore, all that. but i only properly became a lune right before the jyuugoya release! i am nothing if not a #yearner.

Hi hello. I don't understand your position a little: you repost posts about Palestine (and that's right ofc!!), you repost russian artists in the JO fandom (erm...), and you are silent about Ukraine. It would be important for me to know your thoughts on this, because I really like your fics, but I am really upset by such neglect of the genocide of Ukrainians

Hi anon! I completely understand your question.

First of all I want to say that I hope all this doesn't come off as harsh or rude (I'm always afraid people will misinterpret my tone when it comes to text), so please keep that in mind while reading <3

Okay, I don't know if you mean lately or just in general here, but I'll explain anyways. These past few weeks (months? idk anymore tbh) have been really rough for me in many aspects that I won't explain here, and I know it's not an excuse to stop posting about what is going on (believe me, I hate myself every time I realize I've been silent for too long, and blame myself every time I complain about what's going on in my life when I know there are people out there that have it way worse than me), but on top of everything I'm also really busy, so I don't have as much time to come online as I used to (and, if you've been here for a while, you've probably noticed that I'm not as active anymore. I post/reblog stuff way less often than I used to a few months ago and most of my posts nowadays are stuff from my queue so).

On the times that I *am* here, I try to reblog as many posts about Palestine and Ukraine as I can. I'm always on my phone when it comes to tumblr bc I don't have a laptop and somehow when I search the tags they never work, so I have to stick to reblogging all the posts about it that I see on my dash and sharing those of the people that occasionally come to my inbox. Even with all that, I always try to check the sources and see if they've been verified first. I really want to help as much as I can, so I don't wanna go around spreading misinformation or reblogging scam links and stuff.

It's true that it looks like since this whole genocide in Palestine "started" (I know it started way earlier but you know what I mean), I've seen more and more people talking about Palestine (which is good, as you said) and it looks like they have forgotten about Ukraine. It's been driving me mad that I no longer (or, well, very rarely) see the news talking about Ukraine, as if the whole conflict there had stopped just because there's another one going on, and I didn't realize until I read your ask that I've been doing the same. I've been reblogging the posts people put in my dash and, since people seem to be more vocal about Palestine than Ukraine right now, that has resulted in me being almost silent about Ukraine too so... I'm sorry about that and thank you for pointing it out. I'll try to be more vocal about it as well!

Now, about what you said about the fanart - I honestly don't know which russian artist(s) you are talking about. I've scrolled down the tag I use for JO fanart and, as far as I know, none of the artists I've reblogged (at least recently, I haven't scrolled too far back) are russian. But, even if they are, I don't think that is a problem on its own unless they're supporting what Russia is doing to Ukraine.

What Russia is doing is absolutely horrible and I will always stand with that, but as much as I hate Russia for it, (IMO) that doesn't mean every single Russian person deserves that hate as well. What's happening in Ukraine is devastating and I'm really hoping for the best for all Ukrainians and hoping they put an end to it as soon as possible, but not every single person in the country is to blame for what their country is doing.

If I see anyone supporting what Russia is doing - no matter if they're Russian or not - I will block them. Of course, I don't know everything and I can make mistakes sometimes, so if you have prove that something like that is happening and you see me interact with their posts is probably bc I'm not informed about it, so you can always politely hit me up and show me the evidence and I will block them.

It is not the first time I've blocked an artist that I really liked after being shown prove that there's something going on with them (for many different reasons), and it probably won't be the last one, but I won't be blocking anyone just bc of their nationality.

That being said - I am well aware that's not what everyone thinks and there will be people who disagree with what I said, but it is my opinion. I'm not trying to force my views of the matter into anyone and I'm trying to be as polite and clear about this as I can, but if you (not you in specific anon, but anyone who's reading this) disagree with me and your first thought after reading this post is sending rude asks/anon hate about it - don't even bother. I won't be answering anything like that, so please don't. If it bothers you, just unfollow me, block me, whatever, but I won't be giving any attention to any hate/rude comment.

Bury a Friend Chapter One:

Reposting my “Supernatural” AU! This story features the reader— YN— and her friend, Amanda, as they deal with the life of being a hunter. YN is in love with Dean, but we all know how Dean is. I played around with cannon when it comes to plot and ages, please don’t hate me! Lmao.

Set in season 3/4/5 so far, so consider this your spoiler warning!

Dean Winchester.

What. A. Man.

No, a God.

Y/N had known Dean and Sam for years. 10, almost 11 years, to be exact.

Y/N met them when she was just 15; just a teenage girl, who hadn’t even finished going through puberty yet.

When Y/N met Dean and Sam, the girl was gangly, angled, and uncoordinated. The amount of times Y/N tripped over her own feet or ran into a screen door, was too many to count. Y/N was not a graceful teenager. She had tried activities like gymnastics to help, but she broke her arm and never went back.

She was a graceful adult, though.

Between puberty, her father’s training regime, and some miracle, Y/N had stopped tripping over her own feet and started to become a true hunter.

Her father trained her mentally and physically. Y/N could handle any weapon that dropped in her hands, She could single-handedly shove stakes through hearts, and she always made sure to have the upper hand. She was smart, too. She knew her limits and never bit off more than she could chew.

She used her small stature to her advantage: she could hide most anywhere and she could wiggle out most monster’s grips.

She was adept, daft, and cunning. She also knew to keep a low profile— nobody had been able to pin her down.

She was deadly.

Y/N had met Sam and Dean through a family friend who knew John Winchester. They were all hunters; a life that Y/N had desperately tried to escape. Her Dad would drop Y/N off with Sam when he and John would go on a hunt. Dean was resentful that he had another “kid” to look after, but Sam was grateful to have another person to talk to. Sam and Y/N were close up until the day he graduated from high school. Sam left after a huge fight with his father and never looked back.

Y/N had mourned the loss of her friendship with Sam, but Dean never gave Y/N a second glance. Which wasn’t surprising— Dean was almost 10 years her senior, nine years and 364 days… Not that Y/N has counted or anything. She was just a kid to him.

Dean and John left seven years ago and Y/N hasn't heard from a Winchester since.

When Y/N started hunting, She began to track Sam and Dean. She followed their trail through newspapers. Once they had reunited with Ellen, Y/N got a phone call every time they showed.

She had long tried to forget about her feelings for Dean, but she kept an eye on the brothers to make sure their paths didn’t cross.

Until the universe decided to pull the Winchester’s back into her life.

Y/N was at the Roadhouse, nursing a whiskey, neat, when she heard a voice She thought she would never hear again.

“Y/N?” The voice boomed from across the bar.

Y/N turned to the source of the noise. A goofy smile coming across her face when she realized who was speaking to her

“Well, I’ll be!” She said to the giant man before her.

Sam had aged, but well. Under all that bulk of muscle, the kid that she knew was still there. She could see it in the kindness of his eyes. Even though the life of a hunter was cruel, he was still good.

Y/N stood to hug Sam, but he swept her up in his arms and spun around. Y/N laughed loudly but clung to him. She inhaled his cologne and all those good memories she had of spending time with the Winchester’s came back in waves of nostalgia.

“It’s good to see you, Y/N,” he said as he put her back on her feet.

“You too, Sam!” Y/N said, joyfully as she sat down. “Care to join me?”

Sammy nodded before turning to Dean.

“Dean, you remember Y/N?”

Dean glared at her. “Yeah, Cameron’s kid,” he grunted. “Dumped her with me. Gave me another mouth to feed.”

Y/N tsked her tongue at Sam before turning toward him. “Is he always such an ass?”

This earned a laugh from Sam. “Yeah,” he guffawed. “Yeah, he is.”

“Whatever,” Dean huffed. “Can I get a beer, Jo?”

They waited until Dean had skulked off to the corner of the bar before resuming conversation.

When Y/N was 15, their age gap made the world of a difference. But now that she was 25? 10 years didn’t seem all that bad. And Dean looked good for 35. Really good. Even though he was still an ass.

“So, what brings you here?” She asked Sam, turning toward him with a bright smile.

Sam shrugged. “It’s been awhile since we’ve had a case. Dean was getting restless, so I suggested we come here. It’s the closest thing we have to a home.”

“You don’t go to Bobby’s anymore?” It was an innocent question, but she could tell it set Sam on edge.

Sam’s eyes darkened for a second.

“Consider the question withdrawn,” Y/N half joked.

She knew Bobby had a heart attack and she also knew that neither Sam nor Dean had bothered to pick up a phone and call Bobby in almost a year— that’s why she was in town. She had hoped that the boys had long moved on from their relationship with Bobby.

Y/N had called Ellen for her weekly check in when Ellen had told her Bobby had a heart attack. Y/N rushed to Sioux Falls immediately.

Jo had gushed every detail about Sam and Dean to Y/N when Y/N and Amanda came to the Roadhouse three nights ago.

“How do you know about Bobby?” He asked, leaning closer to her.

It was Y/N’s turn to shrug. “You and Dean are famous in this world,” she said nonchalantly as she downed the whiskey in one swig. “Word gets around. My dad knew him, too,” I offered. “Said he was a drunk.”

The truth was, Y/N knew Bobby through her father as well. Her father and Bobby had been close for about twenty years before a hunt went very, very wrong.

Her father had almost gotten Bobby killed, and instead of owning up to it, Cameron pinned the blame on Bobby.

That fight created a rift between Cameron and Bobby that nobody could fix.

Y/N had reached out to Bobby only twice in the past seven years— once to see if he’d help her. He said he had no interest in helping Cameron’s blood, and once more just to tell him that Cameron had passed away. Even though they weren’t in contact, she still cared for Bobby. She always drove by his house when she was in town, just to make sure he was alive.

Y/N knew that if Sam and Dean found out that Bobby had been hurt, and almost killed, by her father, they would most likely turn on her. Bobby was the only family they had left, and Bobby hated Y/N.

That made Sam laugh. “That’s what they all say. But those who know him—”

“Know he’s mostly sober?”

Y/N and Sam laughed. She didn’t realize how much she had missed the younger Winchester brother. His presence was a breath of fresh air.

Jo poured another round.

“So what are you doing here?” He asked.

Y/N looked at him, debating if she should tell him the truth. “Ellen’s like a second mom to me,” she said after a moment. “She likes to think she’s checking up on me, but really, I’m checking up on her.” It wasn’t completely untrue. Ellen did like it when Y/N popped in, but only ‘cause she was a hunter and she was worried sick about Y/N.

Y/N could see the wheels turning in Sam’s mind and hoped he wouldn’t press it. Eventually, he nodded, accepting her words.

They fell into an awkward silence. They both knew that you couldn’t trust other hunters as far as you could throw. They both knew that Y/N had just lied to him for a reason.

“Y/N,” Sammy started.

She looked at him. Her heart broke when she saw the sadness in his eyes.

“I’m sorry for how I left things.”

Y/N waved her hand dismissively. “That was years ago, Sam. C’est la vie.”

Y/N moved to get out of her seat, but Sam’s hand was on hers in a second. She couldn’t help but look up at him.

“I mean it, Y/N. I was so desperate to get out that I didn’t care who got caught in the crossfire. I messed up.”

Y/N could see the sincerity on his face. “Okay,” She whispered. She cleared her throat. “But I really should get going. The rowdy crowd is about to show up.” Y/N gave Sam a shit-eating grin and slapped money down on the bar.

When Y/N turned, she couldn’t help but notice Dean. Well, who Dean was chatting up, anyhow.

He was leaning against the bar, talking up her best friend, Amanda. Y/N Looked back at Sam and winked. “Watch this.”

She walked over to Dean. He either didn’t sense her presence or didn’t care. Y/N looked at Amanda, and Amanda noticed her best friend instantly.

Y/N slightly raised her eyebrows, asking Amanda a silent question. Do you want me to stop this? When one friend was being hit on by men they didn’t like, the other would come over and would ask, “Honey, are you ready to go?” Before sharing a kiss with the other to get the man to go away. Most of the time, it worked. Sometimes, the guy was a creep and wanted to “join them”. Those guys usually got a punch to the nose.

Amanda gave a slight nod, inscrutable to anyone who didn’t know the pair .

Y/N stepped in between Dean and Amanda, making herself known.

“Dean,” Y/N crooned in a voice saved for men she thought were one step above Neanderthals, “I see you’ve met Amanda.” Y/N smiled brightly, but her eyes showed a silent threat.

“Yes, I have, Sweetheart,” Dean said, with confidence dripping from him. He winked at Y/N before turning to Amanda.

It took everything Y/N and Amanda had not to laugh.

“I hate to break it to you, Dean, but you’re barking up the wrong tree,” Y/N said in a tone that indicated that he should leave.

Dean stood up straighter. He looked down at Y/N, literally and figuratively. “Is that so, sweetheart?” His voice challenged Y/N this time.

Y/N gave a small laugh. “Yes, it is Dean. You should leave before you get humiliated.”

“Ha,” he said, his signature cocky smile on his face again.

Y/N shrugged her shoulders. “I warned you.” She wrapped her arms around Amanda’s neck and kissed her friend deeply.

Dean’s jaw dropped and Sam started laughing in the background.

Y/N pulled away from Amanda and looked at Dean. He shrunk back from the pair and sank onto a stool. He was leaning on the bar again, shell shocked from what just happened. Y/N knew he was a little turned on, too. It was in his eyes.

Y/N raised her eyebrows suggestively while leaning into Dean.

He was disarmed by the powermove and lust, so it was easy for Y/N to reach into his pocket and snag his wallet.

“I told you, Dean. Wrong tree,” She whispered seductively. Once the wallet was securely on her person, Y/N discreetly pulled out her knife.

Her lips were millimeters away from Dean’s and she could tell he wanted to kiss her.

Y/N licked her lips as one final distraction before slamming the knife into the bar top, pinning his jacket sleeve securely to the wood.

He reacted like Y/N knew he would— He tried to bounce out of his seat, but was stuck to the bar top.

By the time he had successfully removed the knife, Y/N was already halfway out the door, Amanda in tow.

“Keep the knife, sweetheart,” Y/N called as she dragged Amanda out of the door and into the night.

Sam walked up to dean. “Dude—“

“Don’t say anything,” Dean threatened as he pulled his jacket back on. He patted down his sides. “Son of a bitch!” Dean exclaimed as he patted down his front and back pockets. “She just took my wallet!”

This made Sam, Jo, and Ellen laugh.

“Shut up,” Dean hissed.

Ellen leaned across the bar. “She may have been just “Cameron’s kid”, Dean, but she’s not a baby anymore. Her daddy died five years ago, and she was hunting on her own till she found Amanda two years ago.”

Dean looked at Ellen, then at Sam. He had definitely underestimated Y/N.

Ellen could see the lust in Dean's Eyes so she clicked her tongue dismissively in response. “Don’t go messing with her, Dean Winchester. She’s had enough heartache for a lifetime.”

Dean stared at the door, hoping to see Y/N again, and not just because she had his wallet.

New Year's Eve 2020 - April 2021

It was nearly midnight on New Year’s Eve when Wren carried a tray of cookies into the living room of her landlord's house. After putting the tray down, she surveyed the room taking in the almost odd reality that was the merger of her life in Albany with reminders from home. Her parents had arrived on Christmas Eve and Heidi had surprised her by showing up the day after Christmas. They would all be leaving in the morning, but she had loved spending time with them and introducing them to her new life.

Sitting on the couch talking to her parents was Josephine Whitaker, Wren's landlord, and the first person that she had met on the day she moved to Albany. The 75-year-old woman had been an amazing landlord, but an even better friend. She had given Wren that first month in Albany to feel sorry for herself and lick her wounds, but then the older woman had stepped in and had forced Wren back into the real world.

Making friends had never been hard for Wren; so when she had actually opened herself up to making friends, it had only been a matter of time before she and the school's other kindergarten teacher, Shania Larkin, had become friends. Shania was in her early thirties and had moved to Albany a couple years earlier after splitting up with her fiancé.

After Wren had told Jo and Shania why she'd come to Albany and what she had left behind, they'd both taken two very different approaches to helping her mend her broken heart. Jo had taken it upon herself to set Wren up with blind dates; none of which had been successful. Meanwhile, Shania had decided that Wren needed to live and embrace life, which led to them taking weekend and evening workshops and classes on everything from cake decorating to a beginner’s class on car maintenance.

There had been no blimps on the romance radar until Wren literally bumped into a tall, good looking guy with dark brown hair in her own driveway on Thanksgiving Day. Of course, he'd turned out to be Jo's nephew Adam. They had hit it off right away and he was everything she was looking for in a partner. There was just one little problem: she felt nothing for him. She had tried for a few weeks to see if something would change, but then they'd kissed and it had ended with them both laughing and agreeing that romance wasn't in the cards for them.

A smile stretched across Wren's face as she spotted Adam sitting in a quiet corner with Shania, their bodies bent towards each other as they talked quietly. She had accidentally set them up together when Shania had asked her to take a scuba diving course with her and Wren had turned her down, but Adam, who'd overheard the conversation, had expressed interest. Looking at them now, Wren wasn't sure why she hadn't realized how perfect the two of them were together.

Chris would love her new friends.

The thought came from nowhere and Wren let out a shaky breath. Suddenly needing air, she slipped into the kitchen and went out to the back patio. Taking a deep breath, she looked up at the sky. She'd been plagued by little thoughts or reminders of Chris and Addy ever since she'd come to Albany. The worst of the moments were when something would happen and she'd think 'I need to tell Chris about this' before remembering that she couldn't.

She didn't regret coming to Albany; she had needed to remove herself from the impossible situation she'd been caught up in. However, she did regret how she'd left things back in Sudbury. She hadn't gotten to say goodbye to Addy like she had wanted to. Then there was the last time she had talked to Chris as well as the days leading up to it. Just thinking about it all made her sick to her stomach.

"I thought I'd find you out here," Heidi said, coming out of the house. She was carrying a blanket with her and she handed one end of it to Wren to wrap around her shoulder and held onto the other part to put over her own shoulder.  "You ok?"

"I had a random thought that Chris would love Jo, Adam and Shania," Wren said as they stood close together to ward off the chill. "Which led to thinking about leaving Sudbury and you know." She took a deep breath. "I really made a mess of things, didn't I?"

"It wasn't pretty, but it wasn't all on you either," Heidi said with a small smile. "Did I tell you that Scott came to the apartment on Christmas Eve?" Wren shook her head. "I think he was there looking for you, but he did tell me a couple things."

Wren didn't say anything. She didn't feel like she had a right to know what Scott had told Heidi, especially since she was the one who'd chosen to leave Sudbury and remove the Evans family from her life. At the same time, however, she wanted to know that Chris, Addy and the rest of the family were ok.

As if sensing her friend's internal battle, Heidi continued. "He told me that Chris hired his neighbor to help with Addy and it's working out great."

Wren smiled at the news. She'd known that Miss Loretta would be the perfect person to help Chris. The older woman had volunteered in Wren's classroom a time or two when her grandsons had been in the class and all of the kids had loved her. Wren knew that Addy would thrive under her care.

"He also mentioned that he told Chris that you're in love with him."

Wren's smiled slipped from her face and she nodded solemnly at that statement, she’d known he would tell his brother eventually. She couldn't help but wonder how Chris had taken the news.

"There is something else you should know," Heidi said, interrupting Wren's thoughts. "Scott didn't tell me this part, but it feels like a good time to tell you this. A few weeks after you left, Chris called and asked me for a recommendation for a therapist."

"He did?" Wren asked, looking up at her friend. "What for?"

"He and I didn't talk about that part," Heidi said. "But he's getting help. Maybe your outburst and departure made him realize that something wasn't right?"

"Maybe," Wren nodded. She certainly hoped that her leaving had done some good for him even if it led to him eventually falling in love and marrying someone else. Again. Her eyes welled up with tears at the thought and they started rolling down her cheeks as the backdoor opened.

"There you two are," Shania's voice carried from the steps. "Come on, the ball's about to drop."

"You go," Wren told Heidi. "I'll be ok."

Heidi went into the house with Shania, leaving Wren in the backyard wrapped up in the blanket. Fireworks lit up the sky a minute or so later as 2021 arrived.

"No more sadness," she told herself aloud. "From this point on, if you think about Chris, you will smile. Yeah, those last couple days were shitty, but why should that overshadow twenty plus years of friendship?"

With her New Year's Resolution made, she went into the house and put a smile on as she wished everyone a happy new year. The party didn't last much longer and people began to leave. She said goodnight to her parents, who were staying in one of Jo's guestrooms, and then she and Heidi went out to the guest cottage.

The next morning, with her parents and Heidi due to leave, Wren got up early and went into the main house to make them all breakfast. She was just sliding the breakfast casserole into the oven when her dad came downstairs.

"Something smells good in here," he said with a smile. "Smells like your mom's breakfast in a pan casserole."

"That's because it is," Wren replied. "I made some coffee if you want some."

Side-by-side, father and daughter doctored their cups of coffee and then retired to the table on the far side of the kitchen.

"I'm proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone like this," he said after a few minutes of silence.

"Thanks, dad," Wren replied. "I like it."

"All I want for you is to be happy," he continued. "And I'm sorry that it's been a solo journey to this point. But I know there is a guy out there for you and you're going to knock his socks off."

Wren smiled as tears pooled in the corner of her eyes. She leaned over and rested her head on her dad's shoulder. Her parents were the only family members she had and she wished that she lived closer to them.

"I love you, dad," she said.

"I love you, too, kiddo," he replied.

They sat quietly for another ten minutes before her mom and Jo came downstairs. Heidi arrived a few minutes after that and then the timer went off on the oven. Wren got up and took the casserole out and everyone dished themselves a large helping of the eggs, cheese sausage and potato breakfast.

Before Wren knew it, she was saying goodbye to her parents and Heidi, an hour or so later, as they got ready to head back to Massachusetts. She and Heidi made plans to get together during spring break and her parents told her they'd plan a long weekend soon.

School started again, a few days later, and Wren threw herself back into the job. Teaching was her passion and she loved seeing her students' faces light up as they learned new things. The first week or so back was rough, but once the five- and six-year-olds were back into the routine of being in school all day, their learning speed only increased.

Even though Shania was too busy with her scuba training and dating Adam to take classes, Wren continued to sign up for a workshop here and there and just enjoyed the opportunity to learn a new craft or skill. It was usually just her taking the course, but sometimes Shania, and occasionally Adam, took a class with her.

Before Wren knew it, spring had arrived with a beautiful showing of flowers and blossoming cherry trees. It was similar to spring in Sudbury, but different at the same time. She and Shania had jokingly started a countdown to spring break on the chalkboard in the staff room, but all of the other staff members had taken a turn (or more) to update the number of days left.

For Shania, spring break would be spent scuba diving with Adam in the Bahamas since they had both just passed their scuba course. While they were soaking up the sun, Wren planned to spend the week in New York City with Heidi as their school districts had the same week off.

An in-service day had been scheduled for the Friday before spring break, meaning that the students had the day off, but the staff had to come in. Taking advantage of the relaxed nature of the day, Wren showed up in jeans, sneakers and a hoodie. She spent the first part of the morning in her classroom and was on her way to her first meeting of the day, when her cell phone rang.

Taking the phone out of her pocket, she saw that it was her mom. Curious as to why her mom was calling in the middle of the day, Wren answered. "Hi mo-"

A sob met her ear and dread filled every inch of her body. "Mom?"

"You need to come home," her mom said in between sobs. "And hurry."

Middle Eastern Comic Con

A/N: I am using this as my entry to @dancingalone21 summer escape challenge. I chose Dubai, U.A.E. as my location. I hope you enjoy! This is an AU. No hate to Danneel. I love her and wish her no harm. For the purposes of this fic assume Danneel is perfectly happy with someone else elsewhere. This is unbeta’d all mistakes are my own. I know this is long...it took on a mind of its own. I have also decided that this is going to become the start to a new series called Summer Vacation!

“Whoever thought moving Comic Con to June in Dubai is an idiot,” you muttered to no one as you flopped onto your hotel bed. You flew in this morning to Dubai and were sweating your ass off. You pulled up WTF Weather and laughed at the comment ‘hotter than redneck ass on chili night’ before sighing when you saw that it was 120 degrees at 10 pm. “Seriously, who wants to put hundreds of people together in a convention hall with these temperatures. Last year was beautiful with the temps only being in the 90’s, why on earth did they push the timeline back by two months?” You sip on your drink you mixed from your mini fridge.

You must have fallen asleep watching Friday the 13th as you startled awake. The clock blinked at you 2:07 am in its red letters. “What was that” you ask the room as you hear a scratching at the door. Stretching as you stand you make your way towards the door as you hear scratching and then the door jiggle. “Dude, you can’t even open your hotel room door. I thought you said you weren’t drunk,” you heard a low, but familiar sounding voice. You couldn’t quite place that voice though.

“Can I help you” you exclaimed as you opened the door stopping dead in your tracks.

“What are you doing in my room,” the tall man asked you. He stared at you with piercing green eyes while the man behind him towered over him also peering at you.

“Excuse me, but this is my room. I checked in several hours ago and have been here ever since.” You reached out and took the key from his hand. “You would be in 301, right here,” you say knocking on the door next to you. “My room is 303, you are trying to get in the wrong room.”

“Oh shit. I’m sorry,” the man blushed. “My name is Jensen,” he reaches a hand out to you.

Taking his hand and shaking it, “Jensen Ackles, I know.” Jensen smiles you, “at the moose behind you is Jared Padalecki. I’m Y/N.”

Jensen and Jared both shake your hand. “I hope we didn’t wake you up. This hotel is a little confusing.”

“It’s okay, I didn’t mean to fall asleep that early anyways, I was watching Friday the 13th. I meant to go down to the bar and check out the house band. I loved them when I stayed here last time. Obviously it is too late to do that now,” you shrug starting to close the door.

“Hey,” Jensen puts a hand on your door and smiles at you, “you can come hang with us in my room. The gang is all coming over to have some drinks and relax.”

“The gang,” you question lifting an eyebrow at the guys.

“Yea, all our friends that came for this convention,” Jensen responds. “You in, or what?”

“Sure, I’ll join you, just let me grab my key,” you leave the door for a second reaching back to the table grabbing your keycard. When you return the boys are still standing exactly where they were when you left. “So is the party in your room or are we going to party in the hallway all night?”

“Oh, umm, right,” Jensen blushes a little while putting his key in the door. Pushing the door open he moves aside so Jared could walk in. “After you, Y/N,” he says smiling.

“Thanks, Jensen,” you say as you walk into his room, which looks identical to yours, and you take a seat on one of the beds. Jensen throws the deadlock so the door stays open before sitting next to you on the bed.

“Alcohol is here bitches! Now the party can start,” Briana exclaims walking into the room with Rich and Rob following behind her. “Oh, we have a new friend I see,” she says noticing you sitting on the bed next to Jensen.

“Guys, this is Y/N. Jen just tried to break into her room. We invited her to join us, that’s okay with you guys, right” Jared addressed the group. He was answered with responses of ‘yea, cool’ and ‘hell yea’s.’ “Y/N, this is…”

“Rich, Rob, and Briana, I know,” you respond laughing at the bitch face you receive from Jared. Jensen throws his head back in laughter.

“I like her,” Briana states with a laugh sitting on the other bed next to Jared while Rich and Rob grab chairs to sit in. “Any time I can get more girl power I will take it!” Briana starts pouring shots and passing them around the room. “To friends, both new and old,” she says holding up her shot before you all throw them back.

Rob looks around the room as Briana and Jared go about pouring drinks, “hey, where’s Misha?” You choke when he says it because you automatically start singing the where’s Misha song in your head. Rob gives you a strange look and you respond with an apologetic one as you play it off like you just swallowed wrong.

“I’m right here you jerks. You left me at the bar when I was in the bathroom,” Misha retorts as the cast laughs at him. He stops in his tracks when he notices you. Tilting his head he says, “you look familiar.”

You smile up at Misha, “the only reason I might look familiar that I can think of would be because I did GISHWHES last year. Maybe you saw one of the photos my team submitted.”

“That’s probably it. What team were you on,” Misha inquired.

A slight blush reaches your face as you answer, “the underbears.”

“I remember that team name! I saw the logo and I couldn’t stop laughing at it. I showed it to you, do you remember that Jens,” Misha asks laughing. Jensen nods his head yes smirking at you as you down the drink Jared hands you.

“Well now that you have embarrassed her, Misha this is Y/N,” Jared says taking your empty glass and pouring you another drink.

“So, Y/N, what brings you to Dubai in this blessed heat,” Richard asks leaning towards you while Misha takes a seat at the foot of the bed.

“I came for ComicCon. I don’t know why they decided to push it back until June though. Summer in the Middle East is intense. Last year it was during spring break so it was more bearable.” You give Jared a smile thanking him as he hands you a new drink.

“Better question,” Rob says taking a drink, “why did you travel all the way to the Middle East for ComicCon? I mean I know the Supernatural family travels far and wide for a Supernatural convention, but not usually a ComicCon as much.”

“Actually, I live in Kuwait. Also, I didn’t know you guys were coming to this. A friend of mine convinced me to go last year, and I had fun so when he asked if I was going to go this year I said sure,” you smiled at the group who all seemed surprised.

“Why do you live in Kuwait? Are you deployed,” Jensen asked you.

“No, I’m a teacher. I spent two years in South America, and now I’m in the Middle East for a while,” you smiled at him. “You don’t really get a lot of extra money on a teacher’s salary, and I love to travel so I figured why not kill two birds with one stone. I’ve had a lot of experiences most people would never have in their lifetimes. People say home is where your heart is, and if that is true my home is the world.” You couldn’t help but smile at the faces of the people surrounding you. Some were shocked, some were impressed, and some were trying to figure out what kind of experiences you have had. “I’ve taught in Kuwait for two years, I am moving to a different school, but staying in Kuwait next school year. I don’t know what I am doing after that.”

“Wow, that is really cool, Y/N,” Jensen smiles at you and bumps into your shoulder. At that moment you phone starts dinging with text messages, “someone is popular.”

“That would be my friend Jo. She is wondering if she can FaceTime with me. Do you guys mind? She will freak out to see I’m hanging out with her idols.” They all agree and you text her telling her it is cool. A moment later your phone rings with a FaceTime call. You answer the call. “Hey Jo! Ummm you need to put on your hijab.”

“Why,” she asks giving you a questioning look.

“Just do it, trust me. Let’s just say I’m with some guys that you will want to meet,” you say excitedly.

“Okay, just give me a moment. You are in Dubai for ComicCon, right?”

“Yep, you are right. I’ve met some pretty awesome people that you are going to love meeting. We are just hanging out in one of the hotel room. Are you ready,” you ask with a smile.

“Okay, you are killing me here girl. Why are you so excited and I feel like you are going Charlie on me,” Jo laugs.

“I’m always your Charlie, Jo,” you say laughing. “Fine, are you ready?” Jo nods eagerly as you turn the phone around to the rest of the room. “Jo, meet Jared, Jensen, Misha, Rich, Rob, and Briana.” The crew all waved at your phone.

“Oh my god! Are you serious right now? How did you meet the cast of Supernatural? I need to hear the entire story start to end right this minute,” Jo exclaims towards you.

“Alright Jo, take a breath,” you laugh at her, “I promise I will give you the full story, but wouldn’t you rather talk to these people? We can talk any day.”

“Yes! Totally! I would love to talk to all of them,” she says happily. You pass your phone to Jared. He gives out a chuckle before smiling at your phone.

“Hey there Jo,” he says as you lean back against the headboard.

“So, who is this Jo, other than a fangirling friend, that is,” Jensen asks leaning back next to you.

“I’ve known Jo for a little over a year now. She is the older sister of one of my former students. We bonded over our nerdiness with different TV shows. She is truly my first friend I made in Kuwait that wasn’t a teacher at some international school or in the choir I was a part of. She is pretty cool. I wish she would have been able to come with me this year.”

“That’s pretty cool. She sounds great. I look forward to talking to her,” he smiles at you.

“Just to warn you, she is definitely a Dean girl,” you smiled.

“My kind of girl,” he winked.

“Here you go Y/N,” Briana said handing you your phone.

“Hey Jo, there is one last person for you to meet. Jo, meet Jensen,” you pulled the phone back a little so that Jensen was filled the screen with you.

“Holy crap! Oh my god oh my god oh my god,” she exclaimed. Jensen smiled before taking your phone and saying hey to Jo.

“So, how, or I guess why did you guys get asked to come to the Middle Eastern Comic Con,” you asked looking around the room. “I mean, I know there are some fans of the show sprinkled throughout the Middle East, but Supernatural really doesn’t really fit with the lifestyle that is expected around here.”

“You know what, I asked the same question,” Jared responded leaning forward a little to take your glass and refill it. “I guess last year there was one fan who talked about the show enough they got other people interested.”

“Yea, I also heard that she bought all of the Supernatural merchandise that was on the convention floor,” Rob added in.

“That’s kind of impressive if you think about it guys,” Rich cuts in, “one person had enough of an influence to gain the show a bunch of interest in an area where that is unlikely and she got enough interest that they wanted us here.”

You blushed at their comments throwing your hands over your face, “oh my god.”

Briana took notice of your movement, “what’s wrong girly?”

“Oh ummm, well, I think I might have been that girl. Last year I walked the floor every day to see what merch I could find. There was one booth that had a couple of those funko pops and I bought them. Am I the reason you guys are here,” you ask looking around the room. They all smile at you with responses of maybe and possibly.

“Here Y/N,” Jensen says handing you your phone.

“Hey Jo, we will talk later okay?” Jo smiles and hangs up.

“So, you are the fan that created enough buzz to get us here huh,” Jensen questions wrapping an arm around your shoulder pulling you to him. “That’s pretty impressive. I’m surprised you aren’t fangirling right now like Jo was just now.” He sent you a wink as he said that last part.

“Well, she didn’t just have you trying to break into her hotel room at two in the morning,” you retort causing the rest of the room to burst into laughter.

“She got you there buddy,” Misha laughed. “I think it is time for me to hit the hay though. We have to be up in a few hours.” The others agreed with Misha saying goodbyes as they head for their rooms.

“I suppose we will be seeing you tomorrow then Y/N,” Jared asks as he gives you a hug goodnight.

“Your chances are pretty good there moose,” you respond causing him to laugh as he says goodnight to Jensen and heads for his own room.

“Umm can I walk you back to your room,” Jensen asks sheepishly.

“You mean the whole ten feet from this bed to my door? Sure Jens, why not.” Your response causes him to smile and place his hand on the small of your back guiding you towards the door. 

“Well, I guess this would be goodnight then,” you say as you step outside his door and right in front of yours.

“Yea, I guess,” he says shyly. “Hey, I’m sorry about trying to break into your room. This setup is a little weird and I really thought it was my room.”

“It’s okay,” you say with a smile. “I know what you mean. I had this same exact room last year and it took me awhile to get used to it. Thanks for inviting me to join you guys tonight. I had a lot of fun. You guys are pretty cool.”

“I’m glad you had fun. I hope you will hang out with us tomorrow.” Jensen leans down and kisses your forehead before handing you your cell phone. “You left this sitting on the bed when you got up,” he smiled at you.

“Thank you. Goodnight Jensen,” you say as you step into your room and shut the door.

“Goodnight, Y/N,” he says as he shuts his door too.

You woke up to your phone alerting you to a text. Rubbing your eyes you look at the phone.

You were dressed and just starting to put on some makeup when you heard a knock at the door. Walking to the door you open it smiling. “Good morning Jensen. I’m not quite ready to go. I need five more minutes, but come on in.”

Jensen smiles before giving you a quick hug saying good morning before following you into the bathroom taking a seat on the edge of the bathtub. “You look great Y/N, you really don’t need makeup. You are beautiful just the way you are.”

“Well thank you Jens, but it is a confidence booster for me. I don’t have the best confidence in myself, so this helps me just a bit.” You finish up the last of what you are doing before turning around and smiling at Jensen and walking out of the bathroom picking up your bag on the table next to the door. “Are you ready?” Jensen smiles at you as he stands up gesturing for you to lead the way out of your room.

Jensen waited with you in line while you got you pass for the convention before bringing you over to the artist entrance with him. “She’s with me and will be all weekend. Is there a way we can get her a pass so she isn’t stopped from coming with me all weekend,” Jensen asked the gate agent. The agent smiled and told Jensen he would see what he could do. Placing his hand on the small of your back he guides you inside towards the green room. “Good morning everyone,” he greets his castmates with responses the same.

“Hey Y/N, I want to go out on the floor and kind of look around. Would you like to go with me,” Jared asked you smiling.

“Yea, sure. By now most of the vendors should be set up and ready to go. That could be fun,” you respond.

The two of you were walking around the floor when you both heard a screech behind you. “Oh my god it is you!” The two of you turned around to see a young women at a merch booth who was most certainly fangirling. Jared lets out a little chuckle before smiling and walking up to the booth.

“Hi, I’m Jared.” He smiled and held out his hand to the girl.

“I know who you are,” she smiles at him and shakes her hand. “I actually was slightly fangirlilng over her,” she says pointing at you.

“What,” you question smiling at her. Jared smirks looking down at you and throws an arm around your shoulders.

“You are the girl that came asking me about Supernatural merch last year. That night I went online and watched four episodes. I was hoping you would come back around near the booth for the last day of the convention, but I never saw you. I then went on to watch the entire series, or at least what I could find of it. I watched seasons 1-11 twice since last year. I have two more episodes left of season 12 to watch still tonight before the panel tomorrow. If it wasn’t for you I would have never found the show. I’m hooked now!” She looked at Jared, “It is really cool to meet you too by the way. I’m fangirling over you as well, but when I saw the two of you together I flipped.”

Jared smiled at her, “this is Y/N. She is pretty cool isn’t she.”

You blushed at his comment, “thanks. I’m glad you enjoy the show. I didn’t know I had that much influence on anyone. That is until these guys told me the story of how they were invited here this year.”

“I know a ton of people who got hooked on the show last year after we met you, so it is really thanks to you that they are here. Y/N, would you mind signing this poster for me? I plan to have the cast sign it tomorrow when they do autographs, but I would like yours as well if that is okay.”

“Ummm sure,” you say hesitantly. Jared chuckles letting you go so you can sign the poster.

“Y/N is famous now huh.” Jensen says walking up to the booth behind you. You turn to give him a smile as you blush.

“Holy cow, you are friends with the entire cast,” the girl asks excitedly.

“Actually we just met yesterday, but yea, I guess you could say that.”

“She is a friend of ours yes,” Jensen says as he pulls you in for a hug.

“That’s so cool! Anyways, I will let you go. Thanks for the autograph Y/N! I look forward to seeing the panel tomorrow guys,” she says waving.

You spend the rest of the day walking around the floor with Jensen and Jared being stopped multiple times by people wanting to talk to you, get your autograph, and gush about Supernatrual.

At the end of the day you were sitting in the green room with the entire cast deciding where to go for the night. “I think Y/N should decide since she knows more about this city than the rest of us,” Jensen says throwing his arm around you. The rest of the cast agreed with his statement.

“Well, the Irish Village is pretty good. Sometimes they have live music too. I’ve only had their appetizers, but all their other food looked and smelled really good.” Everyone agreed and decided to meet in the lobby of the hotel later that evening.

You heard a light knock at your door. Smiling you opened it to find Jensen on the other side. “My don’t you clean up well,” you say to him as you grab your purse and step into the hallway.

“You look mighty fine yourself sweetheart,” he responds and makes your heart flip at him calling you sweetheart. Jensen was sweet, hot as hell, and all around an amazing guy. You found yourself falling for him fast. “Everyone is down in the lobby waiting on us so we should probably get down there before they start making up stories as to why we are the last two down there.

Everyone loved the Irish Village. Drinks were flowing and food was constantly being passed around the table. There was a band playing who recognized the group you were with and asked Rob and Jensen to sing a couple songs with them. You leaned over to Misha, “hey, I’m going to step outside for a minute, I will be right back.” He nodded at you before you walked away.

One outside you walked through the crowd of tables over to the little pond. You smiled as you thought about how crazy this weekend had become. You originally just planned to come to the convention and have a little fun relaxing now that the school year was done. You never expected the cast of Supernatural to be there, let alone try to break into your hotel room and then invite you to hang out with them all weekend. Plus at the convention you had become some sort of celebrity just because you had tried to find Supernatural merch the year prior. You were pulled away from when your thoughts when you heard a low ‘hey’ come up next to you. You turned to see Jensen standing next to you looking at the same pond.

You smiled at him. “Are you okay? Rob and I got back to the table and you were gone. Misha said you stepped outside about ten minutes ago, so I decided to come check on you.”

“Yea, I’m fine. I’m just kind of wrapping my head around everything going on this weekend. It’s been very different than what I was originally expecting is all.”

“Oh, how so,” Jensen asks turning around to sit on the rock you were both standing next to and you follow.

“Well, first of all I had no clue the cast of my favorite show was going to be at this convention. I was not prepared at all for that,” he laughs at that comment. “Then two of my favorite actors try to break into my hotel room,” you throw out three fingers, “then my favorite cast in the entire world invites me to hang out with them the entire weekend so I get to see all the behind the scenes of the convention which is super interesting and finally I’m some sort of celebrity at the convention because I made so many people in a TV show. It’s a little overwhelming compared to what I was expecting, you know?” You turn to face Jensen to see him smirking at you.

“What were you expecting this weekend Y/N,” he asks.

“Well, I was just going to come to town, meet new people at the convention, unwind from a stressful school year, then go back to Kuwait for one more week to prepare my cat for me going back to the States for two months.” You lean into Jensen as he puts his arm around you.

“Well, I for one am glad that I drunkenly tried to get into your hotel room. I like you, Y/N, and I want to keep getting to know you,” he said pulling back a little bit to look at you.

You looked up at him still leaning against him, “I must be dreaming.” At that Jensen leans down and his lips find yours. Your mind explodes. The Jensen Ackles is kissing you. When he pulls away you can’t help but let out a little “wow” which he chuckles at. “Okay, yep, I’m officially dreaming.”

“Well if you are dreaming I am too sweetheart,” he responds. “Seriously though, I would like to keep getting to know you better when you get home, would that be okay?”

“I go back to Kuwait for a week, and then I fly back to the States. I’m staying with my cousin for a week to see her new place but other than that my summer is free.”

“Perfect. We should probably get back inside before everyone starts missing us. Shall we,” he asks holding his hand out to you to help you stand.

The rest of the convention flew by quickly. You spent all of your time with Jensen and the rest of the cast unless they had something for the convention. Even then Jensen would text you whenever he could. It was time for everyone to fly back to their homes and you found yourself at the airport with the rest of the cast. You were behind Jensen in the security line.

“I’m sorry sir, but you can’t have this in your carry-on. There are new TSA rules for direct flights from the Middle East to the USA. This screen is too large,” the security officer said to Jensen holding up his iPad.

“What, when did this become a thing,” Jensen questioned.

“It’s only been in effect for a couple months sir.”

“Well what am I supposed to do? It’s not like I can get it into my checked bag now can I,” Jensen said trying not to sound angry.

“Hey,” you say reaching out to place your hand on his arm smiling. “I can take it. I’m flying to Kuwait. I will be in Texas in a week anyways. Also, I go through Europe on my way home, so that rule doesn’t affect me.”

“You are going to be in Texas in a week,” he questions.

“Yes. I told you I was going to spend my first week back with my cousin. She just moved to some suburb near Dallas. Is that acceptable sir,” you ask the security agent.

“Do you two know each other,” he asks.

“Yes we do,” Jensen says smiling at the man.

“Then that is okay with me. Just make sure you are able to turn the device on when you go through security in the USA ma’am.”

You both smile at the security officer as you grab your carry-on items from the x-ray belt. Jensen pulls you into a hug, “thanks Y/N. I had no clue that was a rule. I guess this means I will get to be seeing you in about a week.”

“Yes, I guess so,” you respond hugging him back.
