Day 6 of being stuck in the Janitor's closet
After several hours (I think? It's getting hard to tell how much time has passed) of fumbling around with the old rusty screws on the vent, I have managed to loosen it up enough to yank it off the wall. Surprisingly, I can fit inside! I don't really like being in there, though. It's so... uncomfortable. I can't move my arms, or my legs that much while I'm in there. Definitely not an area where I would be able to quickly travel from place to place.
By the way, I heard some strange noises while reaching for the shiny object I mentioned last update. All the echoing from that enclosed space made it difficult to piece together exactly what it is. Whatever it is, I can figure out later. I have other concerns, such as...
THE SHINY OBJECT! While writing this, I used the illumination of my phone screen to figure out what it was. TURNS OUT IT WAS A KEY?! I don't know who would put something like this behind a vent grate of all things, but I'm not complaining! I actually might keep this thing after I get out. It looks like an artifact you would find in some old abandoned house while exploring with your friends, before needing to run off because some narc decided to call the cops on everyone. Not that it's happened to me before-
