Kitra had no idea how many nights in a row this had happened. If she were to be asked how many times a night it happened she’d be equally lost in that number. This time, though, was the worst of all the times she had woken. The nightmare of him hunting her down. Her entire being felt seized up; her throat was locked tight, her muscles frozen and unwilling to budge. Even her breathing was affected given how shallow it seemed.

She swallowed harshly and glanced over at Zephyr. He seemed to be sleeping still. Good, she hadn’t roused him. 

Maybe... perhaps just maybe giving into weakness would be okay? Kit was not one to need others, but tonight she did someone.

A noise sounded deep in the woods and she drew still, her heart shooting to her throat. When Kitra finally did allow herself to look she realized it was a mouse or some other rodent scurrying around. It wasn’t some assassin sent to kill her. She swallowed hard and glanced to her companion; she could always sleep alone. The thought of returning to her nightmares alone made a chill of terror go down her spine.

Her muscles, stiff from the fear she had felt, finally unlocked enough for movement as she made her decision. Kitra stiffly rose and, though she could see in the dark as clear as day, she hurried to where Zephyr slept a few feet away. She had meant to just move to lay beside him and slowly inch her way close. Instead she tripped over her own feet as her legs were still slightly locked from her terror. She had just barely managed to catch herself before she could land gracelessly atop of her sleeping companion. 

Thank fate it had been that. She would have hated to have fallen on him given how he slept armed. Cripes, maybe this was a bad idea. She quickly and quietly shifted down and ended up curling against his side. When Kitra’s arm went over him she realized she was trembling still. Dust and fate, she hoped he didn’t wake up. Or if he did that Zeph wouldn’t question anything and just assumed she slept walked to him.

Is there something wrong with me having commissions open if my art isn't "good enough" for people to want to buy?

I mean...I personally am rarely happy with my art, but even if I do something well, I'm not always happy with it, so I don't really like to judge my own work, but isn't it possible that someone might want to buy a piece from me?

If not, then maybe I should just stop trying for now until I improve some more.  Maybe I will do that.

But seriously, what's wrong with me having them open?
