So given recent events, and since I run a pretty run of the mill blog that tends to keep it on the clean side of things, I decided to poke around through my post history and drafts to compile what was flagged in one way or another. The relatively small but effective list of horrifying, offensive content that tumblr saw fit to protect us innocents from....

So, basically things like nature photography, concept art, illustrative art (most of which contains no nudity or offensive imagery at all), food??, animal videos, and art reference posts. My favorite of the bunch is the moon. That’s it - just the moon. Really? Out of all of the above, only one of the posts seems to actually violate their new terms (the statue Expansion - those female presenting nipples!), but even then, it’s still a work of art.

The reason I joined and spent time on tumblr for the past several years is because of the creativity I found here. There is so much genuinely amazing art - genuinely amazing content in general - on this garbage site and to attack it this directly is one of the wildest decisions I can fathom @staff making. I honestly can’t wrap my head around releasing something this obviously broken.

I’ll be replying to this and tagging some of the OP’s of the posts pictured above, in case they haven’t contested those posts yet. Best of luck to everyone trying to work with this new, ridiculous system, hopefully posts start getting restored before the 17th rolls around.

Ok so I’m not going to copy the post about girls opening pads in boys bathroom because people will think it’s chips (because everyone’s seen that), but SERIOUSLY can we discuss making pad wrappers a more neutral color? How the hell am I supposed to hide a pad when it is in a BRIGHT ORANGE WRAPPER that crinkles louder than a JET PLANE?? Serious questions.
