The summary of episode 1: Holy Land| Crusades| by Angel
Hello ladies and gentlemen, thank you for taking your time on Wednesday night with me, today we will be doing a summary, analysing a documentary about the Holy Land and Crusades.
The video began talking about Pope Urban II wanted to take back the Holy Land from the Muslim peeps that had control Jerusalem for over 400 years already. Due to this event, he had to spice things up and led to his speech and the beginning of the crusades also began after that.
Then, the next part of the video is about a lady has a weird accent introducing and couldn’t stop touching a manuscript, book written in 1289 about experiences and many key events happened in the First Crusade with her hands, I feel offended already.
After that, the crusaders had decided to walk from Europe to the Middle East, I swear the way narrator pronounce Byzantine Empire was goalssss. Eventually they ended up going to Constantinople and made the greatest decision ever, they split up into different groups.
Moving on, later, there was a satisfying battle break out to watch at Antioch in 1098, I was expecting more deadly scenes but on to the points. As a result, the crusaders made it bois, the Christian all won in the end.
The last thing is they arrived at Jerusalem, they got into even though the place has a high walls and powerful defences. They slaughtered, destroyed people all over the place and finally achieved their goal to take back the Holy Land. *The Muslims has left the chat.*
Another not really relevant thing I wanted to discuss about is there are so many useless footage that is completely unnecessary and make the video so long and not very interesting to watch, they threw some random stuffs in it which is very distracting. I mean if they get into the points and being more relevant then the documentary will be much shorter. Also, the video has no SUBTITLES, IT TOOK ME MORE THAN 2 HOURS TO SUMMARY AND CHOOSE OUT THE IMPORTANT DETAILS WHICH IS VERY RARE IN ALL OF THE VIDEO but I guess this is what you have to do to get 20 points worth it..
