Do y'all ever see a fellow MaDD'er who has a para with the same name as one of your paras, and you just get kind of . . offended? Because it's like they stole your para?? And I'm not talking usual basic names, I mean weird one's that don't sound normal.

I have a para named Sachi, and I just saw (for the very first time ever) someone's para also named Sachi and I still don't know how I feel about it.

No harm done, I mean I sure as heck don't own that name, but it just made me feel weird and uneasy as if I was losing my para as my own. Dunno if this makes sense . . just thought I'd share.

This was literally THE number one song I would always daydream to for sad daydreams. Unfortunately they were really really depressing daydreams, so I couldn't ever go back to listening to it. But maybe it'll help someone who's looking for that perfect sad song.

Parents that never listen (MaDD related)...

I've told my parents about my para's, but instead of actually listening, they just assumed I was Schizophrenic and/or had DID (personality disorder), and said that my para's were just "The voices in my head." 😒😒 My parents never listen to anything me and/or my siblings try to tell them. Its the most frustrating thing because I'm sure they'll never understand.

For anybody who can relate, I suggest that you just keep bringing your para's up every now and then. Maybe eventually your parent(s) will ask what it is you're talking about.

For me, when I mention them to my younger brother, my mom will listen and say,

"Who are you talking about?"

And I'll just say "A good friend of mine."

She usually goes along with it. But yeah, for anyone who actually wants to mention it to their parent(s), just try to bring your MaDD up little by little. Whether you mention what happened in a daydream, or you just gush about your favorite para. I'm sure they'll show some kind of interest eventually.

Unfortunately for me I'm still waiting for my parents to show interest.
