"Oh, hello there!" Thomas cooed.

He bent down to look at the fluffy grey cat that had just wandered up to his front door. It had a light blue collar, and if cats could smile, Thomas would think it was smiling at him.

Its tail swished as it walked over to Thomas's open hand, nuzzling its nose against his palm.

"Okay, okay," Thomas laughed. "I'm petting you, I promise."

The cat purred as he stroked its head and down its back. Its tail curled around his wrist, and looked like the happiest cat Thomas had ever seen.

"You're adorable, aren't you?" Thomas said. "I wonder who you belong to."

The cat lifted its head, and Thomas caught sight of a silver tag hanging off of its collar. He gently took it in his hand, and read the name that was written across it in block capitals.

"Patton," Thomas read aloud. "Is that your name, or your owner's?"

The cat tilted its head, like it didn't know how to answer that. Thomas laughed, reaching out and petting it again.

"Yeah, you probably can't tell me that, huh? It's okay, you're cute, so I think that makes up for your inability to speak."

The cat made a purring sound that almost sounded like laughter.

"Do you live around here?" Thomas asked, despite the fact that he knew that the cat couldn't exactly answer him.

The cat swished its tail, before suddenly moving away.

Thomas let it go, placing his hands on his knees as he watched the cat wander off. It gave him once last look, back over its shoulder, before it walked behind a wall and disappeared.

Thomas stood up, preparing to leave and walk back into his place, when suddenly a man appeared from around the same corner the cat had gone.

He was wearing a light blue polo-shirt, with a grey cat hoodie wrapped around his shoulders. It took a moment for Thomas to recognise the man, but when he did, he realised that this was the cute guy who had just moved in next door.

"Hey there, neighbour!" The man greeted, smiling cheerfully at Thomas.

Thomas immediately smiled back.

"Hey! It's nice to see you again. How are you?"

"Good, good." The man nodded. "How are you doing?"

"Pretty good. I just saw a cute cat, so I think today's a pretty good day."

The man's smile widened.

"Oh?"

"Yeah. I've seen him a few times, but only in the last week. He's super cute: grey, with a blue collar. I wonder who he belongs to."

The man's smile turned amused, though Thomas wasn't entirely sure why. He wanted to ask, but didn't want to seem like the weird, nosy neighbour. He really didn't want to scare him off.

"It's me," the man said.

Thomas perked up. "Oh, he's yours?"

"Yup!" The man smiled. He paused for a moment, before continuing. "Maybe you can come over sometime to see him. I'm sure he likes you."

"Aww, really?"

"Yeah, sure! And maybe... we could get coffee sometime, too?"

Thomas smiled. "I'd like that."

"Good, good." The man smiled back. "I have to go now - gotta pick up my kiddos from school, plus we're going trick-or-treating tonight, but... I'll see you around, Thomas?"

"Yeah, I'll- I'll see you."

And it was only when the man had left that Thomas realised he hadn't even asked him for his name.

TS x Sides Week- Day 7: DLAMPTR- Final Collage!

It’s done! Here’s a final collage of all my works with a lil’ quote that I thought suited quite well! The @tsxsidesweek​ project has been so much fun and it’d be great to do something like this again!

Thomas: Soo.... a frog?

Patton *startled squeak*: Uh-

Thomas: Are you that big every time you shift?

Patton: Uh no?

Thomas: Care to show me?

Patton: You sure?

Thomas: You know I like frogs Patton.

Patton: Yeah, but you kept scaring your mom with them...

Thomas: I feel like that was one of the twins doing.

Patton: ... Are you sure?

Thomas: Yes.

Patton: Okay. *shifts into a smal round frog*

Thomas: AAAAAwwww oh my gosh, you're so small and tiny and cute *picks Patton up*

Patton: *flustered croak placing his hands over his face*

So how in your mind did each side confess their love to Thomas? And how did the host take it? Just curious, doesn't have to be detailed. :3

Roman most likely confessed with either something very dramatic, like a theatre play. But I can also see Roman doing something less loud, and more quiet to show it’s sincerity. Thomas is probably surprised about it at first, before he just smiles and accepts the gesture and gives Roman a peck on the cheek.

Patton confesses with a card and a hug, or he tries, but he is embarrassed and worried it might be wrong so he stumbles over his words. Thomas just chuckles, understanding what Patton is trying to say, and takes his hands to calm him down and kisses him on the forehead telling him he loves him too.

Logan has a full on 50 pages power point ready, but Thomas actually beats him too it by kissing him on the nose, Logan scrunches up his face before squeaking at Thomas to let him finish!

Remus rips out his heart for Thomas to take, taking the phrase “Give them your heart” Thomas screams when it’s dropped in his hands, he pushes it back into Remus’s chest, stressing that it’s just a phrase! not to be taken literal! Remus looks a bit heartbroken because he thinks Thomas doesn’t like him due to that. Thomas just grabs him by the face and tells him he likes him, but he rather Remus keeps his internal organs, Internal, before kissing him on the forehead.

Virgil rips it off like a band aid, blurting it out without warning, Thomas is surprised and has to reboot for a moment before he just smiles and agrees, giving Virgil a hug.

Janus does it silently, spending a bit more time with Thomas than normally, quiet time together. He was not planning on saying anything but it slipped out one day when they were going to sleep. Thomas saying good night and Janus mumbling an I love you. Thomas was just as startled as Janus and the two just stared at each other for a while. Thomas took on of his hands and kissed the back of it, while Janus blushed darker.

Orange sends a cryptic message that leaves Thomas confused and blushing.
