Also my favourite retelling has Mordred and Lancelot find a fucking monk, and the monk is like "Lancelot, you're gonna rawdog Guinevere, and Mordie? Buddy? Arthur is your dad and you're gonna fuck up the kingdom-" and boom, Mordred beheads the dude. And both dudes just kinda sit there, all miserable cuz we would never!!! But then they do.
