Something Unpredictable AU thought blurb

So Etho and Scott have the boys up at the cabin for the summer, but like a week before they were supposed to go back home Etho got like a stomach bug or something, so Scott calls Martyn and Cleo to come get the boys early so they don’t also get sick.

So Martyn comes up, and he takes the boys back to Cleo’s. They’re almost back when Bdubs says he’s not feeling great. Martyn gets them back home as fast as he possibly can, and the first thing the boys do when they get inside is run to the nearest bathrooms.

Martyn informs Scott that the boys got sick as soon as they got home. He helps Cleo get everything inside and set up, even running to the store to bring back some supplies for them before he goes home.

Well…Cleo ends up sick too. Being around two sick teenagers all day. Martyn is happy to bring things over but doesn’t stay too long because he doesn’t want to get sick.

And Scott gets sick as Etho starts recovering so now they’ve traded places of who is taking care of who.

Martyn manages to stay healthy throughout all of this.

WWDITS S6 VAGUE BLAB (NO SPOILERS)

Hello!!! This is just a little note I'm writing, kind of to myself but also to fellow fans of this show, I won't say any specifics, but feel free not to read, I won't be saying anything specific till a week passes.

EP 1 : Started off a little rough in my opinion, but the jokes came through later, which made me giggle so we are back.

EP 2 : Feels like a fun episode as per usual, still confused about what is even going but, it's solid.

EP 3: Giggling then crying thanks. HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa (If you know you know)

So I haven’t heard about anyone talking about this scene

I don’t feel as if people are recognizing this scene very much. Though, credited, the clock mystery and its relation to Amane’s life is a big puzzle piece no one knows where to fit it with what we know so far.

To break it apart, I adore how Hanako’s exasperated expression seeing Nene all cute makes him fall in love with her again. It's quite pure I can't help but obsess over it. Not to mention even after spinning around and falling, they don't break hand-to-hand contact for a good couple of pages. I may be over analyzing but it's a great symbolization of how closer they've come. Through trial a terror, they still stay together. (Maybe even go as far as to reference the bounded mermaid scale)

Ahhh and I love how he squeezes her hand in affirmation. His own way assures a promise (like the famous pinky promise between them).

But anyways, back to the reason I made this post. The wince in their expression reminds me that Hanako is hiding something where he won't be able to see Nene’s play. My initial thought he could be working with Tsukasa to make a wish to ‘God’. Probably a stretch, but Hanako is known to be one shady son of bitch since he defiantly did not have a ‘come to Jesus’ and no character changes that quickly so who knows?

(edit: left this in drafts and read the chapter again my shipper brain has another opinion. My first impression of that stupid little face of his was wincing of guilt since it’s very similar to previous shady eyes of his. HOWEVER, maybe just maybe it’s a representation of another side to Hanako s feelings being in a closer relationship to Yashiro that will be elaborated later. If you read an ungodly amount of fanfiction like me, a common theme Hanako conflicts with is the guilt and self hatred he has that prevents him from pursing Yashiro. He had just recognized his feelings for Yashiro so maybe the little guy is feeling nervous, a bit bashful, if you will. The wiggly of his mouth and strokes on his cheek tell me he’s not used to this after being lonely (as pervious mention in the chapter) for 50 years. Or maybe I’m wrong and he’ll screw us over and it’s my last straw before becoming a Tsunene shipper)

Please imagine Inquisition forces engaged in a large scale fight of some kind in the middle of a storm, they're losing, being forced back and then suddenly it's like the storm itself is on their side. Lightning striking down enemy soldiers where they stand, arcing between troops like something alive and at the center of it all is a tiny slip of a mage, arms raised to the sky as if in supplication to some ancient God.

-Nothing can be taken for granted.

Double life au where everyone is in it, pairings are the same, and Mumbo and Lizzie are paired together bc they have only been in a season where the other person was present

Mumbo gets called “Mr. Steal your girl” and they joke about it until Joel shows up asking if he’d heard correctly, Mumbo panics but Lizzie doubles down
