my best friend got us friendship bracelets, this is joy and love and true friendship and it made me smile and was so reminiscent of the friendship necklaces my besties and i had when we were 12. finding friends as an adult is so much more special and intentional i think, when we’re children we’re in each other’s faces all the time because of school and now i have to choose if i wanna see you and talk to you and form any sorts of connection with you

North Park + The Courtyard Brewery Thought Clouds DDH Hazy DIPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. Like so many of North Park’s big hazy IPAs, this is pretty incredible -- tons of nuance to the hop profile in the nose with a lot of tropical fruit as you’d expect, lots of berries, and an herbal/floral quality in the background. Well-balanced body with lots of tropical fruit sweetness but some moderate bitterness and just a hint of booze help cut through it all. Nice, but also incredibly hard to differentiate this from so many other excellent hazy IPAs from them.
