Thraex Helmet. The Thraex Gladiator was a Thracian Gladiator. He was often put up against The Murmillo who was a Gallic Gladiator. The Thraex would battle aggressively using his sica getting into his opponents blind spot. With only a parmula shield to defend him, the Thraex had to be careful against the defensive Murmillo who at any point could punish the Thraex for exposing his weak points. The Thracians were famous in the Roman world for their explosive strength and were particularly fond as Mercenaries. One of the most famous Thracians in the Roman World was Spartacus who led a rebellion of Gladiators against Caesar.

Of course the Scissor we're talking about is not your usual arts and crafts type. This is a custom LEGO weapon used by tribal gladiators way back in the day.
