  "Lord Motonari!" Hanbei was excited to compare their adventures in the mainland, especially with Alola's League apparently being so different from the other regions. Though he had gotten back the day before, 'jet lag' was no joke, especially for someone who always was tired, like Hanbei. Well, he figured a day and a half of nothing but sleeping was enough, and he was ready to show Motonari his team, and see the others as well.

  "First things first, did you get a Pokedex?"

  Celebi was still blinking at the hat before it processed that the other was talking to them. They stared at him before suddenly bolting into the nearest tree, peeking out of the leaves a few moments later before quickly pulling back in.

  They stared there for a little bit, when it processed that the human wasn't making any move to try and capture them. They poke their head out once more, curious, and cautious. Silence stretched on, and Celebi pointed at the hat.

  "Bi?"

  Of course Takakage was in the library. Hanbei's glad it was the first place he looked, though it took him a few tries to find it. He waits for the other to notice him, knowing it may take a bit and using the time to properly get his thoughts together. Unfortunately, when he does realize Hanbei's there, he's so nervous that he doesn't even give him a chance to speak, blurting out what he wants to say.

  "Do you think I can ask you a few questions?" He sighs to himself in embarrassment, pulling his hat down to cover his face again as he speak up once more. "You don't gotta answer them if you don't want to....."

  "Hey, Lord Takakage, I've been wondering for a while now, but, uh---" He points to the fish swimming around in the pond. "What Pokemon are those anyways? I mean, they kinda look familiar, but...."

  "You got a book I could borrow for a bit, Lord Motonari?" He's got an amaryllis in one hand and the book he had brought with him from Ignis in the other. "I'm running outta room in mine."

  "Hey, Lord Motonari, do you wanna hear a joke about paper?" His nose scrunched up in thought before he shook his head. "Nah, never mind. It's tearable."

  His brush strokes over the paper, eyes darting up at his subject every once in a while-- one Takakage Mōri, reading across from him. It's one of these glances that he notices that one Takakage Mōri staring back at him. And by the looks of it, he knows exactly what he was drawing. Hanbei laughs, hands raising in mock surrender.

  "I've been discovered!"

  Kanbei had never really taken a good look around Greenleaf, and with Hanbei sleeping and Kanbei wishing for him to rest-- since there was no longer reason to wake him-- he decided to take this opportunity for a stroll around the castle grounds.

  It was under the shade of a tree that Kanbei decided to rest, his legs crossed and his eyes closed as he took the time to meditate a bit. His concentration was broken however by the rustling of fabric beside him, and yet, no sounds of footsteps, no crunching of grass. He had a feeling he already knew who it was, and opened an eye to find that quiet spirit that clung to this place-- the one that seemed to instantly know Kanbei could see and hear him.
