EVENT: 5TH ANNIVERSARY REQUIREMENT: THREAD
hand on burning rock, eyes closed, eunwoo extends his senses outside of himself, directing his qi in the rock to see beyond what his eyes could ever tell him. as a foundation level cultivator, this manoeuvre demands quite a bit of energy and focus on his part as he sifts through various elements. this rock isn't just pure earth and is spect with fire. fire that he cannot read or go through no matter its current state. he navigates around those black pockets and continues on. a bead of sweat starts forming on his forehead, byproduct of the elevated temperature in those tunnels and the rapid expenditure of his qi. he'll find it. he'll get to it.
"there!" the young man exclaims before cutting the stream of his qi and returning his consciousness to himself. the backlash is always severe when he doesn't take the time to bring his tendril of energy back to him, but he's running low on fumes and this place is everything but safe, as a sudden tremor reminds him. he blinks a few times and leans against the wall for support, already activating his passive cultivation method to gather back energy. at least, under here, surrounded by his one and only element - earth - he regains qi more easily. "we gotta continue ahead, then on the next fork take the right tunnel that will lead us further down. i sensed several structures down there and a higher concentration of qi. there's definitely some type of treasure and probably more than one." he announces.
his job is done, now up to the others to do theirs.
