Corpse Gather Colossus (one-shot idea)
Here’s one for you DM’s that want a one-shot based around preparing for one very hard.
An age of war has swept through the world & an age of undead is coming to climax. Corpse gathers have roamed the lands of the world, gathering the dead & putting it into their form. This has produce corpse gathers of astounding size who have eaten & assimilated other smaller corpse gathers. This has produced a corpse gather of colossal size.
This colossal corpse gather is now threatening a local city (Which the players are in). The players are given the task of stopping this colossal corpse gather before it can destroy the town. At the players hand, they have all the resources the town has too offer (after all, if they fail to defend the town, they would all be dead, so why not give them everything they have). For manpower, they will stripped of it (since many have fled before once they got wind of the colossus coming, & those who are left are people who can’t get away even if they ran now/people who are dedicated in defending the town)
"WIFE INTERCEDED FOR THE VICTIM," Montreal Gazette. November 7, 1913. Page 3. ---- Italian Arrested Charged With Threatening to Drown Com- patriot in Cellar ---- IN SEVEN FEET OF WATER ---- Complainant Alleges He Was Let Go, but That Accused Shouted Threat After Him ---- Charged with having threatened to drown Paolo Calenzaro, in the cellar of his home in Gordon avenue, Verdun, Alphonse Ferraro was taken into custody yesterday by Lleut. Savard and Constable Golengelo and locked up at police headquarters. Calenzaro, who resides in Riel avenue, Verdun, alleges that Ferraro entered his home on Wednesday and covering him with a revolver, threatened to shoot him if he moved, and went through his pockets. Ferraro took Calenzaro's revolver away from him and then covering him with the two weapons ordered Calenzaro to walk with him from the house to his own home in Gordon avenue.
When they entered the house in Gordon avenue, Canelzaro states that Ferraro ordered his wife to open the trap door of the cellar, stating he intended to drown him. Calenzaro alleges that he was given to understand that there was seven feet of water in the cellar, and believes that he would have been drowned had not Mrs. Ferraro protested against his being thrown through the trap door. He said that he was allowed to leave the house, but that Ferraro shouted after him that he would get him yet.
Calenzaro laid a complaint against Ferraro yesterday, on which a warrant was issued by Judge Lafontaine for his arrest. Ferraro, who is a market gardener, was taken into custody when he drove his team into the city to be ready to do business this morning at Bonsecours market.
Ferraro and Cafénzaro are Italians. They are said to have had a quarrel a few weeks ago at a party, since when there has been bad blood between them.
Lieut. Savard and Constable Conlegelo went out to Ferraro's house in Gordon avenue, Verdun, last night to search for the two revolvers with which Calenzaro claims to have been threatened, but as there was no one at home they could not get into the house.
Ferraro will appear before Judge Lafontaine in the Arraignment Court this morning.

Man probed for post threating to lynch Rep. Frederica Wilson
The FBI is investigating a Facebook post that threatened to lynch the congresswoman who’s feuding with President Trump.
Des Plaines police have turned the investigation over to the FBI after conferring with the agency, authorities told the Daily News. U.S. Capitol Police are also investigating.
“We are aware of a social media posting generated in Des Plaines, IL and are in contact with local authorities,” reads a statement from the FBI’s Chicago field office.
But the man suspected of posting the meme, taregeted at Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.), claims he didn’t make it and he’s not under investigation.
Sgt. La David Johnson’s widow says Trump made her cry during call
“There is no investigation,” he told the Chicago Tribune on Monday.
Keevers said he didn’t send the post, which featured a photo of Wilson, who is black, accompanied by the words: “Need ten good men to help carry out a lynching. Must have own horse and saddle. Rope will be provided.”
The post featured a photo of Keever, his name and had a Des Plaines location stamp.
Wilson has been in dispute with the White House over an account of President Trump’s condolence call to the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, who was killed earlier this month in Niger.
All the times Trump dishonored U.S. veterans and military service
Keevers told the Tribune he deleted a Facebook post in which the comments “got out of control” after complaining about Wilson “using the death of an American soldier for politics.”
Myeshia Johsnon, the soldier’s widow, told ABC News on Monday that the lawmaker’s account was “100%” true.
The meme targeted Rep. Frederica Wilson, who’s feuding with the White House.

Keevers gave conflicting accounts about whether he might have said the words, which someone then turned into a meme, before definitively saying, “I did not use those words.”
A second screengrab reviewed by the Chicago Tribune showed a post saying, “This congresswomen (sic) is a disgusting pig. Someone should take their boot to her face.”
Tom Hanks takes on Trump over phone call with Gold Star widow
He told the Chicago Tribune that Des Plaines police only visited him for a welfare check because he and his family were threatened.
Des Plaines Police Chief William Kushner told the Daily News that detectives interviewed him after receiving a complaint about the suggestive post Friday.
“We did go out and speak to him,” he told The News on Tuesday.
He declined to say what they discussed, however, because the investigation is ongoing.
Deaths of four U.S. soldiers now a ‘political football’: Khan
Capitol Police told the Chicago Tribune it doesn’t comment on active investigations.
Keevers said he couldn’t understand what the problem was.
“People threaten Donald Trump all the time and nothing happens,” he told the Chicago Tribune. “I don’t think a lot about what I write on Facebook.”
