Throbb headcanon?

Hi anon! Sorry this took me so long! I've just been looking at this ask and wondering what I haven't said about those two yet... I don't know, so I guess I'll just repeat myself if you don't mind me!

Theon was Robb's bff, not Jon or any other of his siblings.

I think their friendship started throught Robb's sheer stubborness, as Theon considered himself too mature to hang with little kids at 9/10. Later, however, he was happy to think of himself as the wiser of them!

I think Theon is happy to leave most decision-making to Robb. He's a sub at heart <3

Theon 'taught' Robb how to kiss shortly before the books started! GRRM can pry this headcanon from my cold dead hands!

Much later on, late as in like, maybe his 40s or 50s, Theon realizes that what he felt for Robb was actually romantic love. He probably names a ship King Robb or something, and I think he does kick off what will be a solid ironborn-northern relationship (as they had wanted to once) in his honor after his name is cleared as we all know is gonna happen when the words are printed

Modern Throbb Headcanons

- They met when they were six and have been inseparable since.

-  They started dating when they were sixteen.

-  Theon got his nose pierced at sixteen and Robb’s knees nearly gave out when he saw it.

- Theon’s really into Dark Tower and Robb got obsessed with it. They even have matching tattoos on their right shoulders.

-  Robb can’t stand Lost. Like hates it and he doesn’t know why.

- Their daughter has Theon wrapped around his finger the moment she’s born.

- It’s the same with Robb and their son.

- Theon is either a fashion major or marine biology. (I can never just pick one and flip flop)

- Robb is an elementary school teacher.

-  Robb drunkenly got his tongue pierced when they were twenty and Theon wouldn’t let him get rid of it for at least a month

-  Robb once got sacked really hard playing football in college and was unconscious. He had to be taken to the hospital with two broken ribs, a broken arm, and a concussion. Jon had to stop Theon from running onto the field and attacking the guy.

-  Theon was the ultimate mother hen while Robb was recovering. Robb secretly loved it.

- Theon has a motorcycle

-  They either hyphenated to Greyjoy-Stark or Theon went full Stark

-  Robb hates being sick or injured and will try to deny it. He could be on the verge of passing out or barely able to walk because of the pain and he’d still insist he could grow grocery shopping and do everything else he has to do.

-  Theon is a fucking drama queen when he’s sick or injured and Robb indulges him, knowing that Theon’s childhood injuries and illnesses often went uncared for until Robb noticed and the Stark’s took care of him.

-  Theon got appendicitis when they were seventeen. Robb was an extreme mother hen.

- Theon smacks Robb’s ass constantly

-  Theon, especially high school Theon, looks like the motorcycle rebel badass, but he’s a giant ball of mush whenever Robb touches him or looks at him a certain way, because he is ✨ In Love ✨

- Grey Wind is their first child

-  Theon will do anything, anything, if Robb gives him his puppy eyes.

-  Robb will do anything if Theon asks ‘Don’t you trust me?’

-  Theon has minor insomnia, he has problems sleeping at night and alone, it comes from when he was a kid and still lived mostly at home and his father would come home drunk in the middle of the night, wake him up and beat him.

- Theon sleeps with his head on Robb’s chest because Robb’s heartbeat helps him fall asleep. He can’t sleep without Robb.

             -  This has resulted in Theon falling asleep in other places if he has his head resting on Robb long enough for his heartbeat to lull him to sleep.

-  Robb doesn’t have any fashion sense and it kills Theon.

-  Theon’s addicted to vanilla hazelnut coffee.

-  Robb’s kryptonite is ice cream.

theon purposely talks about their sex life to make everyone uncomfortable

they’re always surprised to hear that robb is indeed kinky

In a modern au, where do you say the characters come from?

I know some people do modern day Westeros, I’ve seen the Starks as Greenlanders (although Scottish and Irish seem to be pretty common), the Greyjoys as Greek, sometimes they’re all American or English. So how do y’all do it?

Werewolf Robb AU Heacanons

This is my final @averythrobbxmas gift for @bitheon. I am so sorry that is is just a bunch of headcanons. I intended it to be a much longer asoiaf/ harry potter crossover fic. But I’ve had a rough holiday with lots of unexpected life changes happening. It’s not even that I ran out of time, but every time I tried to write it, I kept starting over. What I did manage to write of this fic was too horrible to post, so here is more or less the outline:

The Hungry Wolf 

Prompt: Werewolf Robb AU

(Also thanks to @saltveined-archive who has a werewolf Theon verse and who talked to me about wolf pack psychology and how they work with ravens- and also for letting me read their original werewolf writing.)

It is the wizarding world of Harry Potter but still during the medieval period

Hogwarts has been newly created 

Lord and Lady Stark are both werewolves and gave birth to a litter of werewolf pups on the full moon at Yuletide when Catelyn was in her transformation.

The werewolf pups, Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran, and Rickon, are unique among werewolves because since they were “moonborn” they gradually transition from fully human to fully werewolf with each quarter turn of the moon.

In order to protect their children, The Starks begin an underground community in the Dark Forest (which will later be called the Forbidden Forest.) They work hard to create a safe community of werewolves, realizing that transformations are easier for them and safer for other wizards when they travel together in packs instead of isolating themselves. 

There is still much prejudice and fear of werewolves in the wizarding community at large.

Because of the Stark children’s moonborn status they are not able to hide their condition and so they are not allowed to attend Hogwarts. Lord and Lady Stark teach them what they know and take them to purchase wands when they are fully human at the new moon. 

The Stark werewolf pups have a half brother, Jon, who is not a werewolf.

Jon is the bastard son of Eddark Stark. It is rumored that his mother was Ashara Dayne who is half-veela.

Since Jon is not a werewolf, Catelyn is afraid that Eddard will make him legitimate and allow him to inherit the Stark lands. He is also able to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where he is sorted into Gryffindor. This makes Catelyn distrust him since she sees him as a threat to her own moonborn children and because he is a constant reminder of her husband’s infidelity.

Jon is very close to his werewolf family and as soon as he is able, he becomes a raven animagus so that he can help the werewolves hunt when they transform and so he can continue to be close to them. 

Because he is a raven animagus, he gets the nickname “Crow” from Theon, a fellow Hogwarts student (because Theon is an asshole lol.)

Theon is in Slytherin and he and Jon share many classes together. Theon actually likes Jon but he doesn’t know how to express his admiration of him so he just teases him.

Theon comes from a pureblood wizarding family in Ireland who trace their roots back to the first Viking invaders. 

Because Theon’s attempts to make friends with Jon are misread, the two get into many fights and end up sharing a lot of detentions in the Dark Forest. 

One night, Theon is injured during detention when he fails to bow before an offended Hippogriff. Robb happens to be nearby, hoping to meet Jon. Jon manages to perform a stunning spell on the Hippogriff and Robb drags an unconscious Theon to the Stark hideout deep in the Forest where Lady Stark heals his wounds.

Lady Stark is upset that Robb took Theon to their hideout and she warns Robb not to get too friendly with him. But Robb and Theon become best friends after that.

As they grow older, their relationship turns romantic. In order to spend as much time as possible with Robb, Theon decides to become an animagus, like Jon.

Unfortunately, Theon doesn’t take to the transformation as naturally as Jon did.

One night on the full moon, Theon tries to transform into an animagus, but it goes wrong and he is unable to transform before Robb goes through his werewolf transformation. Robb bites him that night, turning Theon into a Werewolf.

Jon is able to distract Robb away from Theon after the bite by taking the form of his raven animagus. Afterwards, he heads back to the school and gets help. 

Because Theon was already a student at Hogwarts, his father negotiates with the founders for him to stay and finish his studies, arguing that Theon will only turn into a werewolf one night a month.

Helga Hufflepuff agrees immediately and comes up with a plan that mirrors Dumbledore’s future solution for Remus. She arranges for Theon to go through his transformations in Hogsmeade, a newly created village, built in order to protect wizards from witch hunters. 

Additionally, Balon agrees that Theon will reveal where the Stark werewolves hideout is in exchange for him being allowed to stay.

Theon is torn between his friendship with the werewolves and the loyalty he owes his family and school. In the end, he does tell them where the Starks are hiding.

The werewolf community in the Dark Forest is raided by the wizards. During the raid Bran and Rickon are almost killed. 

Theon is allowed to stay at Hogwarts and begins traveling to Hogsmeade to complete his transformation once a month. The small shack Theon uses to transform is eventually dubbed “The Howling Hovel” by the villagers. 

Because Theon lives in isolation, he suffers much during his transformations, clawing at his own body and biting himself. He ages prematurely and looks much older than his eighteen years by the time he is about to graduate from Hogwarts. 

Robb for his part suffers extreme guilt about turning Theon into a werewolf. He finds out where he transforms and goes to the Howling Hovel at Yuletide to confront him.

They have an angsty scene together which ends with Robb convincing Theon that his family will never accept him as a werewolf (he is not even welcome to come home for Yule.) And he explains that his transformations are so intensely painful because he is living in isolation. He says werewolves were meant to travel in packs.

Theon still denies Robb, saying the Starks will never accept him because of his betrayal.

Eventually the story ends with Theon agreeing to leave Hogwarts with Robb and embrace his werewolf side.

If I ever write this fic I will dedicate it to you and tag you! Again, I am sorry I wasn’t able to manage it for this Throbb Xmas Event.

Modern Starks/Throbb Vacation Headcanon

When on vacation, Robb is just as protective of his siblings as Catelyn or Ned. He’s constantly pulling Arya and Rickon away from ledges and physically holding onto Sansa as she takes waterfall and mountain-view pictures for her instagram. Robb’s always setting ridiculous parameters for how far they have to be from the edges of cliffs or how high up they can climb trees and rock faces, which is particularly challenging to make Bran adhere to, before the accident of course. 

Robb also expects Jon and Theon to abide by these standards, “you know, to set good examples” for his little brothers and sisters. Naturally, Theon doesn’t listen. It drives Robb absolutely nuts. He takes trying to stop Theon from getting himself into dangerous situations as his own personal duty, because Ned and Cat are far too preoccupied by the younger kids to care. Theon’s always leaning off ledges or climbing up precarious rock faces to take the perfect selfie. He does it partly for the aesthetics, partly for the thrill, but mostly to make Robb squirm. Theon says he just likes to annoy Robb and constantly makes fun of Robb for how worried he gets, but he secretly likes Robb’s distress because it means that somebody cares about him. And, even more, it means that Robb cares about him.
