I’m running out of stuff to say, I’m so boring on my birthday tbh. My wife and I are probably gonna play the Switch sometime today, but at the same time that means I have to unburrow myself from my blanket fortress.

Get It Together || Chloe & OPEN

Things were definitely going better for Chloe lately, and she was much happier with her life, though she felt like she was going crazy due to not having anything to do all day. She hadn't even left her flat on or since Christmas, and she knew if she was cooped up in her apartment much longer, she would go insane. She had a meeting with her manager in two days, but she couldn't spend another minute cleaning her rooms or staring at a television screen. She had to get out. Grabbing her jacket and slipping it on, she called out a goodbye to her cat, whom had disappeared somewhere down the hall. Then she slipped her phone in her pocket, along with her car keys. She wasn't used to driving and she didn't like it, but she didn't want to walk five miles in the cold when she had no idea where she was going.

After a little bit of driving, she pulled into the parking lot of a random grocery store. She didn't want to throw herself into a crowd of people, but she hadn't been grocery shopping in a while, and since she was out anyway, it seemed like the responsible thing to do. She didn't even mind being low on food, but she couldn't starve her cat to death, so she decided she would have to brave the store eventually. Making her way inside, she grabbed a cart and wheeled it straight to the cat aisle, throwing two bags of cat food in her trolley. Turning around, she caught sight of another person from the corner of her eye and quickly pulled the buggy back, not wanting to slam into them. By doing that, she did, however, slam her right elbow into the shelf behind her. She winced at the sudden pain, causing tears to sting her eyes. A long string of curse words immediately ran through her mind, though she managed to bite her tongue and hold all of them back. "Ow," she finally muttered, grabbing her elbow with her left hand. "I'm sorry-- am I in your way?" She asked, actually glancing at the person then, hoping her tone wasn't as rude as it felt.
