OMG erev Pesach made me forget it was Rlain Rlendsday. Gotta make a Rlain post quick!

One year when they were kids Thude hid the afikoman on the couch and accidentally fell asleep on it and Rlain looked for it for like, three whole movements of the Rhythm of Peace and Jaxlim was like "well if Thude was awake we could ask him where he hid it but we can't" and toddler Venli took that as her cue to throw her doll at Thude's head.

Venli, to the Five: Hey, look at the new spren I discovered! There’s no way this could go wrong!

Thude: *opposes Venli, leaves during the Everstorm and saves the listeners as everything goes wrong*

Venli, one year later: Hey so I know I started the end of the world but look! I found new spren for us to bond!!

Let me introduce you all to my new favorite character in the Stormlight Archive, which is Thude's Coat.

WoR I-4:

They were a warpair of Eshonai's own personal division. They dressed in simple garments that were tailored around the chitinous armor plates on their arms, legs, and chests. Thude also wore a long coat, but he wouldn't take that to battle.

WoR I-8:

"Eshonai?" It was Thude, wearing his long coat. "Eshonai. Your eyes."

You know he wears it all the time because he thinks it makes him look cool. And he's totally right.
