Models for understanding us human internally are explored in different models, scientific, aesthetic, and therapeutic. The one I am going to explore currently is the Tibetan Model. This specfic model is designed to teach a person to direct and control awareness to reach a certain level of understanding. Once a person reaches this, they may become achieve liberation, illumination, or enlightenment. The TIbentan Book of the Dead, or "Bardo Thodal" (which translate to Liberation by Hearing the After Dead Place" stresses over free conscious to achieve Liberation. The Book goes on to describe the experience the moment of death, the intermediate phase which lasts 49 days (7 times 7), and the rebirth into another bodily form. This model blends with Tibetan Buddhism, symbolism of death rituals of Bonism, and traditions of pre-buddhism of Tibetan religions.
