So after a particular scene gifset and because it's one of my comfort movies I rewatched Avengers (2012) and THIS TWO SCENES GIVE ME. THE BIGGEST. TICKLE VIBES. I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT THEY DO AND I'M GOING FERAL-
The gif quality is garbage but I had to prove my point with visual reference
Because now all I can think is the Odinsons in the palace growing up tickling each other because and when Loki is a little shit and annoying Thor is just his No. 1 source of fun but oh does it backfire, the Science bros getting tickle fights to distract the other when they're working too much, and being cute and NO ONE FUCKING DYING, RIGHT MARVEL
can we pretty please normalize casual discussions of tickling???? this is so special for me in fics, i rarely see it. it's always 'don't wanna say the word' and I'm kinda sick of that trope. enjoy! (this is for @bigirlgiggles ! i hope you accept this crumb of serotonin!)

Characters: Bruce Banner, Thor

"You don't enjoy it?"
"What? Me? No," Bruce Banner flattened the hair on his arm after rolling up the sleeves of his buttoned shirt.
Thor eyed the man, head tilting in a type of admiration.
Bruce felt the eyes on him and he glanced Thor's way, squinting in the evening sunlight, "What?"
"Nothing," Thor chuckled into his word, reclining himself on the lawn the two shared, riverside, in this busy outskirt of the city they were missioning in.
"No, what? You think that's weird."
"Not weird. Just..." he sat up again, "I enjoy it. The act, the feeling, the experience. And based on people I've interacted with, they seem to like it, too," he saw the confused look on Bruce's face and he added, "Or not mind it, rather."
"I think it's like a losing control thing for me."
Thor nodded. On a top list of fears for the decorated doctor, he would've put losing control up there.
"What about the other side of it?"
"Being the tickler?"
Thor nodded, observing in deep interest as Bruce seemed to ponder the idea.
"I don't know. I guess maybe? I haven't really done it before."
Thor was smiling now, "Try it out."
"On you?"
Another nod. Now Bruce laughed. It was short and maybe a bit condescending, but it came out. When Thor wasn't also laughing, Bruce realized the god meant it.
"O-Oh..." Bruce cleared his throat.
Within the silence, a few children could be heard screaming and giggling down by the river, in the very far distance.
"You're afraid."
"Am not."
Now Thor giggled, "Oh, I see. You need some instigation. I can provide," he cleared his throat in an overly dramatic way and Bruce was already grinning despite himself, "You can't do it."
"Thor, this isn't going to work--"
"On the contrary, doctor, I see it already taking root. So, go on. Prove it to me."
"You're ridiculous," Bruce adjusted the glasses on his face, smiling at this lovable hunk of a guy.
Thor squeezed Bruce's side when he leaned over to further pester, and Bruce jerked away, "Hey!"
"You need provocation! Go on! Get me back!"
"I just told you I hahate--Thor!" Bruce chuckled and batted away the god's fingers from reaching his stomach.
"You never said hate, Dr. Banner. I won't tire of this, you know that, right?"
Bruce wasn't laughing, holding back much of the reactions he was sure Thor was looking for. But... I mean, the guy was asking for it, wasn't he? Like literally asking for it? What crime would it be to not give in? Hmm...
Bruce tackled the god. And Thor actually felt fear running down his spine for a split second. He didn't know what Bruce would feel like. He's experienced his mother's, his brother's, Jane's, and some other Avengers' tickling before, but Bruce appeared a very formidable force on the outside. It's just never actually come to fruition.
"Woah! Ohoho--!" Thor was already laughing, mostly exclaiming in surprise.
Bruce leaned over him knees planted in the grass on either side of Thor's torso. He didn't need to be the Hulk to exude power at this moment.
"Still like this?" Bruce asked as his hands fit the meat of Thor's sides and pinched, fondling the skin in them. That quickly switched to a pulsating of fingertips along the back bottoms of Thor's ribs.
The God of Thunder arched his back and threw it back into the ground in repeated up and downs, "Nohohoho wahait!"
"Switched that quick!?" Bruce beamed.
"No I wasn't-- hahaha! I wasn't saying no!" Thor spit out, giggling some more when Bruce scraped his fingers on his belly, "You're cruel!"
Bruce chortled, his glasses sliding down the bridge of his nose. He used one hand to plant a finger in Thor's shirt-covered bellybutton while his other tossed his glasses to the side. He really didn't want to get new frames. Not again.
The scientist in Bruce took in every ounce of Thor's reactions to being tickled because it fascinated him to no end. How could someone not fight back to the tickling sensation? It's literally proven that the body reacts in defense to it. We clamp up, curl inward. Maybe because he's a god... maybe the nerves are different. Bruce watched as Thor moreso clutched his hands to his chest than try to push Bruce's away, laughing loudly and openly. He was squirming back and forth. He welcomed this.
Bruce's fingers danced up the god's very prominent ribs and Thor's laughter jumped to a squeak for a half a second.
"You gonna let me in there?" Bruce was poking around Thor's closed-off armpits.
"Sh-Shohould I?"
Bruce shrugged, "I dunno, you're the one who wanted this."
Thor was catching his breath during this conversation, where Bruce pulled his hands back to rest on his own thighs.
"Got an answer yet?" Bruce poked both of Thor's hips a few times. Thor jumped and giggled again, "Come on, I don't have all day."
"Yes," Thor answered quickly now, smiling like a big bearded puppy, "Since it makes you happy."
And that's when Bruce Banner blushed. He did kinda like this side of the tickling. Probably because of who he was doing it to. Yeah, that definitely helped.
"I don't have all day, doctor," Thor cheekily teased.
Bruce's face split into a grin and he tickled his way up Thor's ribs into his armpits, booming laughter resounding once more. Bruce was chuckling with the god, finding out that yes, he preferred being the tickler.
for the brotp tickle hc’s can i request thor and loki pls?
Of course you can!
1. Who’s more ticklish?
You know it’s Loki
2. What kind of tickles are they sensitive to?
Both rough & light techniques work on them but each are more susceptible to rougher tickles
3. Which role (lee/ler) does each of them hold?
We already know but I’m gonna say it anyway. Thor=ler, Loki=lee but that of course can change on a whim
4. How did they discover each others’ ticklishness?
They’re too old to remember but they’ve kinda always known since they’re brothers
5. Who’s more likely to instigate a tickle fight?
The giant puppy of a man, Thor
6. How often do they tickle each other?
They used to do it more often as kids, but since they’ve grown apart, it doesn’t happen as often. But as their relationship slowly mends, it happens more often & Loki doesn’t mind as much
7. Who’s the least likely to ask for tickles?
Loki, he would literally rather die (again) than ask for it because that’s basically admitting he likes it
This is my Squealing Santa fic for @a-fluffer-nutter. I am so sorry this is later than I planned I am terrible for doing that but I hope you enjoy! Thanks again to @ticklygiggles for planning all of this.
“Complete waste of my time if you ask me.” Sneered the raven-headed brother.
Loki sat in a chair opposite of Thor and wore his usual mudguard outfit, a full black suit. He sported an overall annoyed expression on his face as his eyes followed older brother prancing around the room wearing a ridiculous sweater covered in the face of Santa Claus surrounded by the elves with different expressions. The brothers decided after the events of Ragnarök to relocate the people of Asgard to Earth and adopting it as their new home. That also included adopting all their traditions and holidays as well.
“Dear brother, why do you have to be, oh what do the humans call it? Oh! A Scrooge!” Thor chuckled and sat down on a chair beside Loki.
Thor had spent those last couple weeks showing Loki all that Christmas has to offer their family. During the entire process of explaining everything from decorating a Christmas tree, to giving presents Loki was unamused, claiming that humans were selfish beings wishing for things that most likely won’t come true.
It was late in the evening and after a whole day of Thor explaining what he’s experienced previously from the Avengers and Jane what he knows about Christmas, Loki seemed to be reaching his limit. Becoming more impatient with the frivolous traditions the blonde kept putting him through. And Thor knew his brother’s patience was getting thin.
Loki scoffed at the comment and narrowed his eyes realizing that Thor is just doing all this on purpose to annoy him. Well, two can play at that game. He stood up and face the god of lightning.
“You know, all this ‘Christmas traditions’ you have been throwing at me all day has made me realize one thing.” Loki mused. He certainly lived up to his name due to the gleam of mischief in his eyes that gave Thor a feeling of uneasiness. The younger of the two Asgardians stood in front of his brother's arms crossed.
Thor cocked his head to the side as if to say ‘What?’. Loki’s grin grew into a smile. “You remind me of Santa Claus.”
Before Thor could say anything he felt a well-aimed poke to his side causing him to jump and gasp. He began to put up his hands as he saw Loki try to poke him again.
“ I am not! How dare you?” Thor stuttered out as he tried to get out of the chair, Loki blocked him by putting on of his legs on top of Thor’s lap and using his body weight to keep his brother pinned in the chair.
Thor’s giggling gradually increased into desperate laughter as Loki switched from poking at his sides to more thoroughly kneading them, slowly taking the older god apart.
The blonde struggled under his brother’s weight and tried to push away the invading fingers. “Lohohohohkihihihi stahahappp thsisis at once!” he shouted through his laughs.
Loki ignored him and continued to torture his brother. As minutes which seemed like hours to Thor flew by Loki grew cocky and let up on some of the weight he had pinned against Thor. The older god immediately acted upon it, pushed the raven-haired god off and pinning him to the floor beside the chair.
Thor taking in deep breathes still places his hands on Loki’s ribcage but does not move his fingers, feeling the muscles tense under his fingertips. Looking at the wide-eyed god of mischief lose at his own game was too good to pass up on.
“Now Loki…..” Thor sang, gently walking his fingers over Loki’s torso, using just enough pressure to keep his brother gasping after each finger moves, but not enough to laugh. “I’ve been developing a theory of my own….” He teased.
“Since I am ‘Santa Claus’ as you say, it is only best that I give you what you want most for Christmas.” Thor teased, “Do you know what that could be?”
Loki shook his head furiously, barely containing the giggles building up in his chest, he can’t look or say anything at Thor in fear of breaking so early in this game.
“No? Such a shame, then I guess I’ll have to tell you myself.” Thor paused his wandering hands as he finished talking. Loki finally opened his eyes at locked eyes with his brother in anticipation of what was to come next.
“Laugh”
With that Thor dug all 10 fingers into his armpits and ribs. Due to his hands being the size of cannonballs, his hands could cover a lot of Loki’s torso without moving much. Loki arched his back so violently along with a shriek that could have been heard through all the other realms. Once the tickling continued and moved along his chest, stomach and sides, Loki slammed his back onto the ground and just succumbed to the torture.
“TH-TH-TH-THOOOORRR PLEEAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAH” Loki screamed, but it fell upon deaf ears.
Thor couldn’t help but join in on the laughter he was producing out of Loki, it has been such a long time since they have been affectionate with each other. An again, Loki started it. “What’s the matter, dear brother? Do you not like my present?” He mocked.
Barely able to form syllables to form the words to respond, Loki just kept laughing. Everything going on in his head was focusing on the fingers causing the electric sensations throughout his body. He felt himself drift further into insanity as Thor began to pinch and squeeze at his thighs and knees. No thoughts could go through his mind, Loki was just a live wire that responded to anything from a squeeze on his kneecap, to fluttering his fingers around his neck.
Once Thor heard everything he wanted from Loki a couple of squeals, giggles, belly laughs, and even as a bonus a loud snort when he pinched Loki’s collar bones he slowly began slowing his fingers to a stop and started chuckling as the phantom tickles began leaving his brother’s body.
“Did you enjoy my present?” Thor cockily said with a giant smile that could have lit up the whole room.
Pushing Thor off Loki finally began to sit up and regain any bit of dignity he had left. Trying to look annoyed and mad at the whole situation that occurred, but the moment he locked eyes with the bright blue ones he couldn’t help but smile at him. Giving one last punch to the shoulder he stood up and practically collapsed in the chair.
Thor then stood up and sat on the chair closest to Loki giggling, “You know, the color red really suits you, it makes you look more festive.” Noting Loki’s aggressive blush still trying to leave his face.
Loki mumbled something to himself, “at least I don’t look like a….”
Thor shot him a look that sent terror through Loki, instantly putting his hands up in surrender.
“Alright truce! I won’t make any more comments about this holiday if you can be finished with these excessive stories for the evening. Deal?” Loki spit out, preparing himself for a future attack.
A fond look reached the elder god’s face as he stared at his brother’s face and saw excitement, but he also saw exhaustion. Agreeing to the deal Thor nodded his head and his grin grew as Loki visibly relaxed on the chair. The two sat in silence for a bit.
“Loki I think tomorrow we should-“
Thor turned and saw Loki sound asleep on the chair with his head back and mouth semi-open. For once he had a peaceful expression instead of the scowl that usually dressed his features. Grabbing the nearest blanket, Thor covered his brother carefully as to not wake him up and starred into the fire.
A/n: sorry this will be short, but hopefully the fluff will make up for it. :) LETS PRETEND ITS SUNDAY YALL
The morning light from your window gently woke you from your slumber. You sighed in delight and grew conscious of the peaceful snores coming from behind you. You gently positioned yourself to face him and observed his features, matching his breathing easily. You smiled slightly to yourself and happily sighed.
After a few moments, you hear thor take a sharp breath in before blinking his eyes open. He smiled down at you and wrapped his muscled arm around your waist before pulling you closer.
“Good morning.” He mumbled happily. You sighed and buried your head in his chest.
“Good morning!” You snuggled even closer to him. “How’d you sleep?” You asked.
Thor let out a satisfied chuckle. “Great. I’m glad I went to bed early instead of sleeping late. That extra rest does do wonders.” You hummed as a response. “And you?”
You smirked to yourself and twisted around, lifting your arms above your head to stretch your body. “Okay, just couldn’t sleep too good with your rumbling snores.” You teased. Thor playfully gasped at your answer and expertly started poking at your exposed belly, making you shoot your arms down to protect yourself.
“How rude, y/n!” He said as he continued to poke around your torso.
“Dohohont start!” You whined, trying to wrench his hands off if your belly. He chuckled, now squeezing at your hips, smiling at your now frantic laughter.
“I think you were the one to start this, y/n. What you said was uncalled for. Truly deceitful.” He switched you fluttering his fingers on your neck, watching as you scrunched up and let out a stream of giggles.
“Ohohokay! Ihihihim SOHOHOHORRY!” Your laughter went up an octave when thor decided to blow a raspberry on your neck. “Plehehehease Stohohop!” After tormenting your hips for a bit longer, he decided to give you a break.
“Well, since you apologized and asked nicely, I suppose I could let you go. Besides, I don’t snore anyway.” You chortled and rolled your eyes, nodding.
“Yeah. Okay, sure you don’t.
“No, I don’t snore.”
“Sure, whatever.” You wave your hand dismissively, making him chuckle as you sighed of relief. He gently pulled you close to him again and wrapped both arms around you.
Even though his grip was mostly suffocating, you stayed right where you were. Because you wouldn’t want to be anywhere else other than with him.
You both stayed in bed, falling asleep once again, and not waking up until 2:00pm. After that you both proceeded to get up and make lunch breakfast together.

Alone in a dark, lonely room. No furniture, completely barren. Palms pressed against the floor, energy surging through your veins. You could feel all of Asgard beneath your fingertips, feel every citizens heartbeat merging into a single pulse. There were two heartbeats you were looking for, and one had just appeared.
A rumbling resonated through the dark room, crumpling walls growling in the dark. Eyes shut, you tried to focus on him, but was torn away. High above, the mural on the ceiling spoke to you, pushing you past the outer layer. There she was, Mjolnir in hand, eyes ablaze. She was going to awaken soon, though you didn’t know why or who was she…wait…yes, you did. She was what Odin wanted you to be, what you were supposed to become. You were her replacement, in a way. You could just feel it, her blood mixed with yours. You were her sister and she was yours.
Hela.
“Thor,” A breath, his name upon your lips, snapping you from this trance like state, the singular pulse of Asgard dissipating beneath your hands. He was home, at long last. Your brother was finally home.
A short trot from the room, shoving your way down the long halls, making your way out into the busy courtyard. There he was, standing in a group of people, watching a performance conclude. He was so close, but so far. You needed to tell him what you just saw, but what if he didn’t believe you? What if it was just a false prophecy? He had other things on his mind, you were sure. Especially since he was just about to learn something about your dear old father.
Odin clapped at the conclusion of the performance as you watched from the side, hidden in the shadows of the building. Thor was walking up, ready to speak to him, to learn what you knew. That was not you father.
Loki had told you his plan, once he came back from the dead. He was to act as Odin, act as the ruler of Asgard. However, he did not tell you where Odin was, no matter how hard you tried to convince him. You could have easily manipulated him, made him tell you, but the both of you knew that you wouldn’t do that to him. You loved your dear brothers more than anything. You would never intentionally use your powers against them. So, you had locked yourself away for months, searching the worlds around for him, with no avail. And now, the only person who could help you find Odin was back.
“Y/N,” The reflection of your brothers watched you in the window of the ship. Thinking back at the entire start of this adventure, you had managed to zone out completely. The duo leaned against opposite sides of the doorway, leaving very little space between them. “How’re you holding up?”
“Well, Dad’s dead, our long-lost sister is probably dead, half of Asgard is dead, and I’m starving. How’re you two handling things?” You replied quickly, not angry nor sad, simply indifferent. It had been such a long, misfortunate adventure that there was little time to think. At least you weren’t pitted against the Hulk like Thor was. You had the easy life being teleported into a very similar area as Loki was.
“It’s been hard, we know,” Thor said with a small sigh, Loki staring at a spot on the floor, regretting so many of his decisions. The three of you were now orphans with no home left but the tie between the three of you. “It’s been hard for all of us. I’m just so happy that the three of us are still together in one piece.”
“Well, sans your eye of course,” A twitch of lips, you pointed at your own eye, thankful you still had both of yours. “Can’t you just grow it back or something? Like a lizard?”
Loki covered his mouth to stifle a laugh, still looking at the same spot on the floor. You were getting somewhere. You didn’t mean to upset him or Thor, but it was just so hard to cope with everything. You had to watch your brother fight an outraged Hulk, learn that you were basically the replacement to Hela, be offered to stand by her side and take over all of Asgard, hold your father’s hand as he died, and watch your own home crash and burn. It all happened way too fast and there was barely any time to process it all until now.
“I’m not a lizard,” Thor stated, wearing a hint of a smile.
“But, like, we’re gods!” You stated, hands outstretched. “Both Loki and I can alter our appearances. Why can’t you just fix your eye?”
“I’m not the god of pretending to be someone else like you two are,” Thor let out a short laugh, earning a gasp from both you and Loki. Loki smacked Thor with the back of his hand, jaw agape.
“Well at least we’re not the god of thunder. Damn, just being in control of one thing, how boring. Y/N and I can at least have a little bit of fun with our abilities. Though you’re much too buffoonish to be able to master what we can do,” Loki said matter-of-factly, glancing back at your smiling face.
“I am not buffoonish!” Thor exclaimed, turning to you, hands folded across his chest in contempt. “You don’t think I’m buffoonish, do you?”
“Maybe a little,” You replied, signaling the distance with your fingers. With a loud sigh, Thor quickly scooped up Loki in one arm and made his way for you. With a gasp, you tried to escape, though didn’t try very hard. You let yourself be taken by your brother, thrown onto the bed of your quarters beside Loki. Two pairs of eyes stared up at Thor, anticipatory gleams shining in all four.
“Still think you two are better gods?” Thor growled, fingers hovering over both of you. Before either you could speak, Thor’s hands descended down, delivering five wiggling fingers into your bellies. You both squirmed and squeaked, throwing your heads back in hysterical laughter. Both you and Loki could easily escape, but neither of you even thought once about doing so. This felt absolutely necessary at the time, finally able to clear your minds of what had just happened, finally able to bond with each other in a happy, healthy way for the first time in what felt like forever. “I’ll stop once you admit that I’m the best.”
“Never!” Both you and Loki said in near complete unison, neither regretting the ticklish onslaught becoming more deliciously unbearable. Your laughter was high pitched, intermingling into a beautiful chorus with your brother’s. Finger pinching hips, drawing circles under arms, wigging over fleshy belly, both you and Loki were in ticklish bliss. However, your brother was a powerful and merciful god. As his fingers let up, both you and Loki sprang into action.
“Nohoho! This isn’t fair!” Thor bellowed as twenty fingers worked their magic all over his ticklish body, causing all sorts of magical sounds to stream from his lips.
At that moment, everything was forgotten, and everything was good. Your connection with your brothers was strong and while your birth place was gone, your home was right there by your side.
AN: I know this is late, but I finished my last final yesterday so I can finally start writing more. This is for Thor’s day for Avengers week. I plan on writing the last 2 fics here soon, hope you enjoy!
Things were getting better. His relationship with Loki had been rocky at best, but it had been smoothening out for some time. And then the whole thing with Thanos happened, and the time travel, and suddenly things were okay again. He had journeyed through space with the guardians, each looking for a past version of someone they had lost. Gamora showed up first. She was wiry and kept escaping right from under their noses, but they finally cornered her. They convinced her that in a different time, their time, they were like a family. He still didn't know if she was fully persuaded, but she was willing to give them a chance. She had nothing else to turn to.
Thor continued his search for his brother on his own. He followed leads that turned up cold, and there were times when he saw a face in a crowd that seemed all too familiar. A lingering stare, a knowing smirk slipping into the sea of people. Finally, after years of searching, he caught up with the brother he thought was gone forever.
It was obvious that this was not the same brother he had lost. He had no recollection of certain events, because he didn't have the chance to live through them yet. He was still the brother that he loved and fought with, but all of the vital time spent reconciling with one another had been lost, leaving mostly bad blood between them, at least on Loki's end. The wounds were still fresh, and it took time to adjust to everything Thor told him.
Now that he was caught up to speed on things, he made an effort to be a better brother. They both did. It wasn't perfect, though it never had been. Thor supposed if it ever was, neither would like it and one of them would do something to disrupt the peace. For now, things were good.
They were holed up in the equivalent of a space hotel, having no real home to return to. Loki was too nervous to return to Earth, fearing how they would react to him. Thor explained how so much has happened since that no one really cared anymore, but it still didn't feel right to him. Valkyrie was doing a great job ruling New Asgard, so he didn't feel a need to return. It was nice to finally be able to relax with the only family he had left.
They found themselves reminiscing their childhood, laughing at the foolish antics they used to partake in.
"Why did you stab me so much? It's not even like you were that mad most of the time," Thor chuckled. Loki found himself snickering along.
"You weren't paying attention to me, and I was bored mostly. It was just the first thing that would come to mind," he admitted.
Thor raised an eyebrow, "There's easier ways to get my attention."
Loki rolled his eyes, "I know that now. But you know you kinda liked it. You thought it was fun," he said with a smug smile. Thor was smiling now too.
"Only because it meant payback! And I think you enjoyed our training matches more than you let on."
"Psh only when I won, which wasn't often," he said dismissively. He tried to go back to reading his book, but now that they were talking, Thor didn't want to stop.
"We used to play so many games as children. What was your favorite?" he asked, shifting his position on his bed. Loki leaned back into the pillows on his own mattress, trying to get comfortable.
"Easy, it was be quiet children. You always lost," he darted his eyes up to glance at Thor before going back to the book. Thor let out a hearty laugh once more.
"I believe that was Father's favorite as well. It was practically the only way he could get some peace and quiet."
"Yes, I almost feel sorry for him." He turned the page, eyes scanning the words. Thor hummed in thought as he picked his favorite. It didn't take long before he came upon his answer. His grin turned feral, though Loki didn't seem to notice."
"Wanna know mine?"
"Oh do tell, I'm dying to know." His tone was drier than the Sahara dessert. He didn't even bother to look up.
"The monster," he answered. Loki tensed slightly and refused to look at him. Thor got on his hands and knees, ready to pounce. "I think we should play it," he said. His voice had a teasy note to it and a mischievous gleam in his eye.
Loki still adverted his eyes as he spoke, "Please don't." He lunged forth, not heeding his warning. He quickly tried to pin his brother down so that he could turn him into a giggly snorting mess. Instead, he got a face full of cushion when he phased straight through his brother's form. He was right about to question what just happened when he felt a weight slam into his side and knock him on his back. He looked up to see Loki looming over him.
"How many times are you gonna fall for the same trick?" he asked. He wore a wide, evil grin that nearly split his face in two. "Still wanna play monster?"
Thor chuckled nervously, "I'm starting to reconsider."
"Too late!" Loki exclaimed as he dug his fingers into his ribs. He threw his head back, laughing loud and free. Thor never held back his reactions when being tickled, he would lay there and take it, cackling his head off. Loki always tried to hold it in, too embarrassed of this silly weakness but ultimately falling victim to the inevitable mirth.
"Wow you were right, this game really is fun! Wouldn't you agree?" He was too busy being thrown into hysterics to answer properly, so he just nodded. How typical: he had never been shy about how much he loved this game, and that hadn't changed. Loki grinned and jammed his hands underneath his arms.
He practically screamed and grasped his wrists, but didn't shove him away. "Lohohoki nohoho!" Thor protested, although he didn't really mean it. Loki knew he didn't.
Loki cocked his head, "Oh but I've only just got started!" To prove his point, he switched spots and started scribbling along his stomach. Thor giggled deeply and smacked the bed with his hand, not knowing what else to do.
"Plehehease, hahave mercy!" Thor begged. Loki shook his head, tutting, "Not quite yet. If I remember correctly, this was a bad spot, yes?" His hands hovered over his hips. Before he could answer, Loki struck.
Thor snorted, throwing his head back as thunderous cackles erupted from his mouth. The younger man couldn't help the smile that broke out across his face. "Ah, so I was correct. Careful though, you don't want to start a thunderstorm."
Through his laughter, he yelled, "Thahahat's not hohow it wohohorks!"
"Yeah well you said you exploded with lighting when you were fighting our possibly fake sister, so I don't think you know how it works either," Loki retorted. He still wasn't sure how much he believed from what Thor had told him. His hands traveled down to squeeze his thighs before skittering along the backs of his knees. Thor snorted as he journeyed deeper into his decent of mirthful madness. He kicked his legs frantically, causing Loki to lose his balance and fall off. He tried to scramble to stay on the bed, but ultimately landed on the floor and pulled the covers off with him. Thor laid there, regaining his breath through residual chuckles. He leaned over the side and smiled down at his glaring brother and offered a hand.
Loki hesitated, seemingly judging whether he could trust him before accepting the help up. He sat down beside him. There was a calm beat of silence.
"I think I deserve some revenge, wouldn't you agree?"
Loki's head snapped to him, eyes wide and a nervous smile already creeping on his face. "Wha- no! Stay away from me!"
A lot of things have changed, but one thing would always remain a constant. They were brothers, and they would continue to play these silly childish games. The past stayed the same, but the future was shrouded in mystery waiting to be discovered. Though for now, they would continue to play like they used to.
