I am bored at home - tier 4 probs. If anybody wants to amuse me by dropping an ask or a Nessian prompt, please do. I’m feeling in a particularly giving mood now I have three weeks off with nowhere to go 😂

I was watching the news today and saw some comments online with people complaining how they can’t go to the pub or meet their mates. Of course being an essential retail worker (like ‘Mel’ here) this often puts a lot of pressure on us. We still have to go to work and risk our health to ensure the public can continue to eat. Imagine if supermarket were also closed?

So next time you fancy a day out, why not go for a walk in the park instead? And when you do actually NEED to buy your groceries; maybe just one of you go, instead of taking the whole family? And give the customer assistant a little smile and encouragement instead of complaining that you can’t buy more than three bags of pasta.

December is one of the hardest months to get through generally but this is obviously slightly different. Please be aware not everyone is privileged to spend time with their family or friends like usual. In the UK we’re set in tiers, the whole of London and South is set in the highest tier- Tier 4. Meaning we cannot leave the house unless it is for essential shopping and no longer are allowed any visitors. No entering or leaving a tier 4 area means many young students and even adults are forced to spend time alone and if found travelling a fine is put in place. so please be aware of this difficult time, reach out if you can.

I hope everyone has a bless Christmas and New Years and we pray 2021 starts off with positivity.
