The third leg of the tour took us to the North-West where a music don of the local scene, Zed Bias, took to the van to perform his trademark style of UK Garage & Beats.

We have Memotone's unique style of electronica right here for you with his Beat This episode (in which he's challenged to produce a track in just 10 minutes), fresh from The Just Jam Van.  We love his innovative use of the instruments and technology - the process behind his originality is fascinating & exactly what The Jameson Works is all about.

We were spoilt for choice in Scotland with a whole host of local talent performing, both in the city and on the banks of Loch Lomond. We got stuck in exploring the buzzing scene up there, with up-and-coming DJs/ producers Nightwave, DJ Milktray and Inkke. Bleaker also created this epic Just Jam set.

Earlier this year the Just Jam Van tour, part of our collaboration with creative duo Tim & Barry, took place. We travelled around the country to uncover the face of British underground music today and to showcase the craft that comes from the scene.

Over the next few weeks we'll be sharing some of the sets we filmed on the trip.

First up is Inkke, a Glasgow-based producer making waves with his unique brand of grime and electronic music.

The Just Jam Van tour is almost here! It kicks off on London on Wednesday 4th May and will go on to visit Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow and Brimingham. Tim & Barry have invited exciting talents such as Birmingham's Swifta Beater, who has produced for some of the biggest names in the scene, such as JME, Wiley and Giggs and Glasgow's Nightwave. We'll be sharing updates and Beat This episodes from the producers who join Tim & Barry in the Just Jam van, so stay tuned.

THE JAMESON WORKS X TIM & BARRY LAUNCH

Last night saw the launch of The Just Jam Van at London's iconic music venue, the Ministry of Sound - the perfect location for a story inspired by the early days of the UK electronic music scene. 

As well as seeing the van in all its glory, we danced the night away to a lineup of some of Tim & Barry's favourite DJs and producers including: Saba Pivot, Nightwave, DJ Die, Dismantle and ONEMAN. 

The mobile recording studio will tour the UK in May, exploring the craft of production that goes in to music tracks and sets that we love.
