Start with a weird premise, then act on it. What if Schala did not merge with the Lavos Shell, but the Lavos Core? I'm not entirely content with sprite 2(I don't know how to 'make' proper battle damage) or sprite 5(The hand kinda sucks). I am terrible with anything where I'm judging by eye and feel rather than directly copying/redrawing from another sprite(Schala's heads). It's odd, but where in the standard Schala sprite her eyes seem clear, somehow she seems dead-eyed in sprite 4 through 6, despite it being a direct copy/redraw. Maybe it's because of the mix between the giant body and Schala's tiny head. Maybe it's because her head's so low. Scenarios/Dialogue: "Dammit, there has to be a way to help you!" "Well, there is one thing..." "Hmm?" "You can die like the rest of these mis-begotten children of mine/ours? Like this whole timeline? Like all things? It's something I/we want very much. Can you do that?" --- Your precious Black Wind howls most for you! Will you listen? --- "How could you...brother...." *Schavos 'body' revives* "Weren't expecting me back, were you?" "You...are not my sister!" "And you're hardly Janus, either, so we're even!" --- "My baby girl has finally grown up!" "Mother, PLEASE!..." --- "You realise, I could destroy you." "Yes." "Or simply deny you your 'immortality', no matter how long We...I might let you continue. "Yes." "...Mother, is there anything left of you?" "...Not much." "But some?" "Enough to be very proud. Isn't it any parent's dream to see their child surpass them? And you certainly have." "My/our hatred is strong. I wish everything to end. And I have that strength. Yet you don't care?" "If God speaks, the only choice is to listen." "And if I wanted to end the persecution, instead? You would be fine with that, too?" "....Yes. The kingdom's yours. The world's yours if you wish it. Time itself is yours, too. You may do as you wish." "Oh, Mother. My poor mad mother...." --- "The XJ9 'Lavoid' battle suit is the culmination of years of work at CT Industries. It has numerous weapons systems and protections, including limited temporal reversion to preserve the user's life. Dr Zeal will now demonstrate.
