Black Hole Theory

Discussing how to get from point A to point B. I have a car, my little brother does not.

Me: (Giving him a long look to let him know EXACTLY how bad that sounded) "If you can fit a whole car up your ass, then you and I need to have a talk..."

Yo everyone, ever wondered how houses in Gallifrey work? It might be all Time Lord techy and small houses could have mansions and shit. Imagine that tho. Saving up space so that everyone could have their own mansion? But then I thought maybe that’s the reason why there’s only one home of the Time Lords in Gallifrey:The Capitol. One Building could contain a city or a country, even. Time Lord tech. The possibilities are endless.

How could I not have seen it!?!? The psychotic indifference was there from the very start. It doesn't matter, Clara is still the story. an expert? :D that’s really flattering.it’s true that i have probably read up everything about tardises there is to know. it’s also true that i have forgotten most of it. but fear not, my friend, for there is a really good webpage for all your tardis-related questions!anyways, if i understand your request correctly, what you are looking for is the development of the first tt capsules, not the (pythian) time scaphe. so, yeah, we start with the founders, mainly rassilon and omega — the first one started and founded the project and the second undertook the hand of omega project and created the black hole that would become the eye of harmony (note: this is the beginning of the time lords, so everything before that is not time lord history, but “only” gallifreyan history).there’s the sidrat ttc that was basically abandoned because they had a super short life span (due to no connection to rassilon’s star, their energy was used up quickly; the technology was later given to the war lords by the war chief). the actual type 1 tardis was created after that; it already had banshee circuits, but was dimensionally immanent (i.e. smaller on the inside). from thereon we can just imagine a more or less steady development.in case that’s important for you: the time corridor and eye of harmony were constructed by rassilon, the web of time was established by him and the other, omega discovered the de-materialisation theory, the other discovered transdimensional engineering. all tardises from type 25 up have a block-transfer copy of the eye of harmony. several pieces of original time travel technology were stolen from the other time-active races, but it’s not specified which. telepathic circuits might have not been introduced before the type 40, but definitely not long before it. the original war tardises that were built and used during the eternal war have their operator permanently installed inside their guidance systems and were mostly unaware of lifeforms (also probaby nontelepathic); their technology was “brought back” for the time war.you can find a basic timeline here and notes about types and marks both here and here. in general, i would always advice you to collate the technical index and the tardis wiki entries on the correlating topics. if you have any further question, feel free to ask.
