ik we all rightfully love timeman angst considering the amount of problems this guy has.. but i cant help but also think a lot about flashman too. like, the dude was built first and foremost as a weapon. he was designed to hurt and to kill(specifically megaman). but ykjnow he chose to reform into society and denounce dr wily. it still doesnt change the fact that he was built for the purpose of killing first and foremost, and to be destoryed if he failed. he wasnt meant to come back in wilys eyes, at least in the archie comics. he was created to serve a specific purpose and then be discarded(killed by his own brother too) he was brought back by ra moon and dr wily just kinda ran with the punches and let him and the other 2nd liners stay, because he could still be useful for wily. plus, there seemingly wasnt any cost of them being brought back, so as long as they didnt get in the way there was no real reason for him to get rid of them again. still though, doesnt change the fact that he was created to kill and be destroyed. probably isnt the best for someone mentally. thats not even touching on the whole doc robot thing. imagine you get literally forced into the same body as 7 others, specifically your brothers(some of whom you really dont get along with), and the body youre in isnt even built to handle 8 chips inside it. so its already unstable. protoman also mentions that none of the 2nd liners wanted to be a part of doc robot, but had to because wily ordered it. wily is also basically their dad. i doubt any of the 2nd liners actually see him that way, he still created them and then basically threw them out once they were no longer 'useful'. he didnt really care about them at all. theres also a nonzero chance that anybody who realized flash used to be a wilybot would probably be very wary or even afraid of him, even if he did make the choice to become better. probably wasnt easy getting a job at a research center if your entire past is "was created for murder and aided in the attempted takeover of the world multiple times". theres also the attack on the chronos institute which, again, was probably added long before they decided to have flash working there alongside time, so this is just kinda far into the headcannon zone, but there were probably people who blamed him/assumed he helped wily with the attack even if flash no longer associates with wily. if your creator is known for hurting people and ruining lives, its pretty hard for people to just... let that go.

tying it back to timeman/timeflash, i think theres def something to be said about a character who was never meant for combat or physical labor(timeman) being forced into the role of an attacker x a character who was built to be a weapon and nothing else(flashman) making the active choice to no longer hurt people. theres also the fact that they very clearly do not like each other, at least at the beginning. something something characters learning to be softer to eachother and themselves/learning not to hate the other because of their own insecurities(mostly applies to time but i could also very well see flash being slightly jealous that nobody is afraid of time, and he has siblings who love him very much even if time doesnt actually see that). theyre both super fucked up i think but since timeman has the more obvious and well known problems hes the one that a lot of people(including me tbh) put the most thought into
