Abyss stopped before a mural that dominated his side of the corridor upon recognizing its muse, a young skeleton monster who donned those familiar shades and hues of cyan and white, surrounded by crumbling ruins and the pitch black tide looming over him. Though its seemingly old origin of creation, its colors never ceased to fade in time, nor did the ichor slipping from the broken hour glass through the muses' fingers lose its celestial gold.
Seeing this, Timekid follows behind him, ❝Eh.. hate to disappoint, chief, but that's Chronos; the first demigod I mean,❞ He corrected.
Abyss pondered in thought, something tells him there's more to the muse, ❝He looks just like you.❞
❝Yeah.. I get that a lot,❞ The child rubbed the back of his skull bashfully, further explaining, ❝But this Chronos is THE hero who sealed off the storm with Lakhesis and prevented the end of the multiverse, and I am just a kid with tricks up my sleeves, there's no way I can compare to him..❞
Timekid trailed off, fixated towards his predecessor presented before him. In truth, not much is known about Chronos beyond his selfless sacrifice- his identity nor background, nor does he know what happened to them. It remained an unsolved mystery lost to thousands of years, thinking more of it only crushed his soul..
❝Were it not for them, we wouldn't be livin' off borrowed time.❞
Whoever this demigod is, his heroic feat kept the multiverse running on life support.

Onward
The demigods thread different lives and bear greater responsibilities, and most of them serve and protect the people from the corrosion.. until their final breath.
Being chosen as one, whether you like it or not, means embracing finality.
Will we ever see them when the prophesied new dawn comes? How much of them would be lost? Will they get the opportunity to lead their lives once this struggle is over?
Did EVERY demigod get to choose?
