Different perspectives about life - POV travelling
I would love to tell you that after a few months I finally found MY way to communicate without having to ask any AI to approve my content (and being confident about it).
As you probably know I am Brazilian and as much as I wanted to, English will never be my first language. So I would like to apologise for making grammar mistakes, for having an accent and for also not getting all of your jokes.
The truth is: I want to show you a world that I am discovering (even though I have been in 20+ countries, I believe there's a lot more to discover) and I want to show it from my point of view. Not like any other blog that only shows what is on hype or places you're tired of reading about.
My favorite way to travel is to truly connect with places and people that normally you can't have from a regular trip. The places I've been always had so much to contribute with my self discovery process and I had so much to learn from it.
And it has nothing to do with the discuss of going on a trip for shopping or not shopping. You can definitely go on a trip for doing it (as I also did for a few times in USA). It is about not being stuck in famous attractions (but don't forget to spend some time in famous attractions if that's what you want to do!) but building truly and meaningfull connections, because when you let yourself connect with the place you are, you can deeply understand the culture and that's when you grow.
Travelling is all about growing. Is about seeing the world from a different perspective. Is about live life meaningfully and challenging yourself with different point of views.
Believe me or not, when you are open for life, life will be open for you. Listen carefully and you will understand how important is to build real connections and how possible it is when you're open.
When I travel I try my best to connect with people as much as being a woman or even for a solo traveler can be challenging (or worse when you're both), and I can asure you: I have many friends from so many countries that if I ever need, I know I can count on them. They are always inviting me to their houses to stay whenever I go back. And that's the most incredible gift travelling ever gave me, my friends, good laughs, a story to tell, different perspectives, somewhere to go back and people to count on.
So next time you're on vacation, try to spend some time connecting with people. There's so many ways to do it, but my favorite is just talking with whoever shows up, it can be in a cafe, in your hostel or hotel, somewhere you feel safe, or you can also use those websites where you can have a dinner with strangers (Timeleft or The First Round seems to be very interesting even though I have never used it), whatever works for you or appears to you. But don't forget: "when you smile to life, life smiles back to you."
Have a wonderfull day,
All the best,
Ana <3
